My middle son who hasn’t talked to me since Trump was elected is having a birthday today.
I’m so sorry politics has divided your family. My oldest is definitely pro-Trump, but is bipolar so has issues of his own to this day. But we love them, don’t we?
I hope there is a reconciliation, for you and your son, soon.
That is so sad, sweetie. It’s unbelievable what the evil left has done to people.
My son was pretty left for awhile....influenced by his “educated” friends. Bit by bit, he started coming around. He has not yet come back to God, but he’s definitely caught on to the criminals and the ways they deceive. He’s well aware of all that is going on.
One thing he said that I found encouraging awhile ago is that when you’re on the left, and you see the light, there is absolutely no going back. I thought about that, and it seems that people come over to the right, but I don’t think many people leave the right to go all in for what the left is peddling.
Don’t give up. What I did was stopped trying to change his mind. I just prayed for God to send someone to open his eyes. That person was Joe Rogan. My son loves him, and listened to his guests. Funny thing is, the guests were saying the same thing we had been telling him, but it meant nothing coming from us.
Hopefully, as the world gets crazier and crazier, he’ll see things more clearly and be in touch with you. I hope you email him now and again just to let him know you still think of him and hope he’s ok.
