"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.

I think our flag is so beautiful. The bright contrast of the red and white stripes is so crisp, and the stripes highlight the billowing in the wind. Maybe that made it useful for soldiers in the fields to judge the wind when aiming?
Also the offset field of stars, not centered, no symmetry, has always struck me as a celebration of individualism. No symmetrical, esthetically-balanced flag for us! We are non-symmetrical, unbalanced, individualists!
