Among other things he addresses issue of “Reach” and how to avoid . (Examples are brassica seedlings.) Also suggests planting things like tomatoes w/in a month or so of starting rather than growing for 2 months and doing multiple transplants before finally planting.

(I use bought potting mix and a seed innoculant to prevent damping off, but I am also not working with a lot of gardening space so my costs are low.)
