Getting reports that after hundreds protested against school mask mandates yesterday, today, @OakdaleJUSD barricaded any student not properly wearing a mask in the gym and refused to turn on the heat. Police were called for a wellness check and police turned on the heat.

Lawsuit recording the heat. Plus herding people together who you believe can spread or acquire a deadly disease may be assault or criminal negligence or a felony. .someone going to jail or getting fired. Either way....big payoff for plaintiffs.

Felony child endangerment (a direct threat to a child's health by a public entity is beyond "abuse") must be stopped by their parents and other responsible adults whenever it occurs to prevent a recurrence. It cannot be ignored. The offenders must be held accountable.

Should negotiations with the perpetrators of this crime fail to resolve the matter and should it be repeated by the offending adults, then it seems to me that the use of force -- legal force initially (labeling it "kidnapping" would be a nice touch); then, if necessary, physical force -- would be justified to protect the health of the minors.
