Former “Today” star Katie Couric said that many people “turned a blind eye to inappropriate behavior” by CNN chief Jeff Zucker and network bigwig Allison Gollust, whose romantic relationship led to his resignation.
“I worked with Jeff Zucker for many years at NBC and later on my talk show. He was a talented and energetic producer. His resignation took me by surprise,” Couric said in statement through Katie Couric Media.
“(Gollust) and her husband and kids had moved into the apartment right above Jeff and Caryn’s — everyone who heard about their cozy arrangement thought it was super strange,” Couric wrote, referring to Zucker’s then-wife.

Seems ole ‘Cutie Katie’ turned a blind eye to a lot back in the day. Her buddy Matt Lauer, Brian Williams et al... Cutie was only interested in being cute and if women were being assaulted or otherwise involved with the reprobates, well that was just less competition for cutie katie to worry about.
Katie’s got more blind eyes than a blues concert.

Indeed the old go along to get along rule.
Just like they and all of Hollywood knew about Weinstein and Epstein. Anything goes! Just don’t get caught.

It appears Toobin was the only guy keeping his hands to himself . . .
like you did...
“...everyone who heard about their cozy arrangement thought it was super strange,” Couric wrote,

That is “super strange” - I mean, these people are immersed in hanky-panky and tomfoolery. It isn’t like their co-workers are pursuing SexChanges. And they thought it was super strange?
That does not pass the “say-it-with-a-straight-face-test”.
Matt Lauer at nbc and Les Moonves at cbs were raping women while Katie Couric had an office next to them and she worked with Jeff Zucker and did nothing to help any woman but herself.
