If you are talking about the Idaho potato on a flatbead semi, it is made out of fiberglass.... i saw it up close during an air show in Mountain Home.

I grew one that was over 8 pounds once, and that was in heavy soil with way too many weeds. It was also my first attempt at growing potatoes. I think I was 14.

Never been able to grow them that big since.

I hope they save some for planting.

Blackfoot: that’s big tater country. I used to load Idaho Spuds——for JR Simplot the tater tot guy-—into Idaho Spud bags-—in Oregon. I was in high school and that was probly my first contact with big time, lying thru the teeth, advertising.

Kind of looks like the statue known as the The Thinker, if statues could get fat.

You wrote,"No, no, not a dud, a DUG."

But, my dear Flaglady...I couldn't rhyme my "dud" with your "dug".

However, despite your tin ear, I'm sending you a big hug !

Chug-a-lug !

Which joke do you like best?

1. I love you a tot, you attractive potato! You should say I love you a lot more! Especially to your potato head!

2. I miss you! I’ll see you tater!

3. My love for you sprouts more and more every day!

4. We’re a perfect mash!

5. You’re the tater to my tot. I miss you a lot!

Freeper’s note: I am tired; I am goin’ to bed

Looks like a spud to me. I once got a 50 lb gunny sack full of potatoes, there were only about 35 potatoes in it. They were culls. The ones they sold to Ore-Ida for fries, but not for people looking to have some in the larder.
