Good morning everyone. I drank a Coca Cola after church services this past Sunday at our get together and it tasted funny. I was wondering if my encounter with Covid some months ago had affected my taste. Then, wifey bought some coke yesterday and it tasted the same as it did Sunday. It doesn't taste like Coke used to taste. Anyone else notice the change?
Other things taste normal to me so was wondering what is going on with Coca Cola. Anyone know if they changed the formula? Is it now Biden Cola?
Oh, we have. Just sinned a tiny little bit.
Probably. These recipes actually tweak constantly.
A little sin is OK. π
We quit Coke a couple of years ago because of their left wing politics.....haven’t missed it one iola.
I think they are trying to make it taste “less white.”
So true!!
I did not know that. Interesting!
I wouldn’t know. Since they went woke I hope they go broke. They’ll never get any more business from me. For all the Coke fans that have invested heavily into their Coca Cola collectibles, well....enjoy. I can only speak for this conservative patriot.
If you store coca cola in a place with strong odors, it changes the taste. If it’s stored in a very hot place, the plastic container might melt. Changing their water filter changes the taste.
Could care les about Coca Cola change they are on the boycott list.
Please don’t tell me they’ve removed the cocaine.
After the ole New Coke back to Coke Classic fiasco, the beverage has never tasted like the old, real Cola.
The carbonation used to ‘burn’ as it went down.
Now, it hardly even fizzles. The returned Coke Classic fizzle wouldn’t last 15 minutes before the drink was flat. That was when I basically quit drinking the stuff and changed to other brands.
I switched to unsweetened tea a couple of decades ago.
I’m a Coke addict as well and I haven’t noticed any difference lately.
The new Coke Zero however, is nasty in my opinion.
A lot of things taste different since Mrs. JimRed and I recovered from COVID-19.
Coca-Cola does not have the ability to taste, therefore it cannot “taste differently.”
(Sorry, but confusing adjectives and adverbs is a bit of a pet peeve of mine.)
I apologize, you are correct. Here's a rephrase of the question:
Did the woke leftists in charge of the formula at Coca Cola change it so that it tastes differently than before to people who drink it?
When I used to drink, we could tell there was difference in Budweiser depending on the brewery.
DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!
In parts of the South, RC Cola was stereotypically associated with people of color for a long time.
Oh wow.
