Frustrated. Disappointed. Nervous.
Those are the three of the main things Joe Biden is making Americans feel right now, according to a new CBS/YouGov poll. Only 26 percent of Americans think things in the country are going well.
The poll found that a huge majority of Americans believed he wasn’t sufficiently focused on the economy (58 percent) and inflation (65 percent). Only 38 percent approved of his handling of the economy, while a whopping 62 percent disapproved. It’s even worse when it comes to inflation — 30 percent approval, 70 percent disapproval. He’s about to dip into the twenties on the approval of his handling of inflation.
If he thinks their opinion is going to go up if he was able to raise the Build Back Better bill back up from the dead, the answer is no, it wouldn’t. The poll showed that that wouldn’t help him at all: 76 percent said no, their opinion of him wouldn’t improve if he was able to pass the BBB bill. The poll indicated that what they want is a change in inflation, and their opinion of him might improve if he were to do that.

Even with most media still doing all they can to stump for him, it’s hard to get around numbers like these.

Overly-educated urban elites, minorities, feminists, LGBTQ crowd, spoiled/naive millennials taught by leftist professors, government employees (especially teachers), suburban women who thought Trump was "too crude"...the list of people who wanted anyone but Trump in 2020 was long.
We shouldn't fool ourselves into thinking that conservatives are the silent majority in this country. We are not.
But let’s not forget that he still received 11 million more votes then in 2016 even by the post-cheating figures, and still received more actual votes than any other President in the history of our country, so he still gained a mountain more support than the molehill of never-Trumpers - and that is an important fact for the GOPe, Dem-lite wing of the party to acknowledge and accept. He’s still, by FAR, the most popular leader in the party, and the sock puppet in the oval is making Trump far more popular with independents as well, now that they see the alternative in action.
But the Dems are now leaking support from Latinos, some millenials, and many of those suburban women. The rest of their coalition is strong, but those are some major cracks. We may just be able to win by more than. The margin of cheating next time.
The primaries will be interesting.
My son lives in a deeply red area of Tennessee, there bunches of Biden signs. Biden and the press sold the American on the idea Biden would the resurrection of Eisenhower. A moderate seasoned rational stead hand at the helm of America. Biden turned out to be a radical senile clown who would rather hurt Trump than help America.
They didn't vote for Biden. Someone cast a vote in their name for Biden, period.
