Dr. Peter McCullough stated on Joe Rogan's podcast interview that Omicron will hit everyone, including unvax'd people with natural immunity, however that does not appear to the true, or at least to the level suggested.
When you have to show papers to eat in a restaurant but not to vote...there is something very wrong
Heard the VP of Bolivia(?) Was on his third go around with it. Pretty sure that was posted yesterday. Anyone? Bueller?
I am personally aware of one case (my son) who recovered from Covid in December 2020, and was re-infected this month (Jan. 2022). He is not vaccinated, so it can happen. Both cases were extremely mild, no fever only loss of taste and smell along with congestion.
It is a well-known scientific fact that immunity gained from surviving a disease is superior to that gained by a vaccine, both in terms of longevity and protective quality. I had the original COVID with no symptoms. I have been around omicron daily to no ill effect and continually negative tests.
I am a nurse.
Yes, I personally know 3 un-vaxed people who have had it at least twice. Second time around was about a 3 day illness.
If you catch a cold and get tested, you have Omicron variant.
If you catch a cold and don’t get tested, you have a cold.
Testing for COVID is not a diagnostic tool and only screens for the presence of Corona viruses, one of which is the common cold.
My brother and his wife, both unvaxed, had documented Covid about 11 months ago, and both again last month.
(I am an Infectious Diseases specialist).
me. i’m not jabbed and had it twice. about 21 mos apart.
Yes. Our friends had Covid in January of 2021. They “shared” it with us, and both my wife and I had mild cases. However, one of these friends came down with Covid (assumed to be omicron based on symptoms) again at the end of last year. So he tested positive in January 2021 and December 2021.
Oh - and neither has been or is planning on being vaccinated.
Good luck. I’ve been looking all over to no avail. It’s hard to compile data when there is an active attempt by the government and pharma companies to hide any and all information about natural recovered people.
Why do I trust the anecdotal reports here more than any alphabet health agency….
I am just finishing my second round of Covid. The first was July of 2020. I was vaccinated (2 Moderna shots) due to work requiring it. I caught my second round of Covid over New Years. I was tested both times I had Covid.
Natural immunity from the original covid is not going to cover you completely from getting Omicron. Accept it.
Yes, I was sick twice from it. Once in October of 2020, sick for about four days. Then last week, probably Omicron.
The nurse who tested me said vaccinated, boosted, previously infected and never vaxxed or infected were all coming down with it. She said eventually everyone would get it. Omicron evades vaccines and natural immunity.
Slight fever, sneezing and muscle soreness lasted less than 24 hours. It was really nothing more than a cold.
Heard of a huge study in Qatar of every known case of the unjabbed getting reinfected. Reflections did happen but the symptoms only required hospital stays in only four cases, and there were no deaths...among a very huge sample. Bottom line is you should worry about getting covid19 a second time about as much as you worry about being hit by a random meteorite.
I know a couple who would not take the vaxx for religious reasons and caught Covid the first time around, that was about 1 1/2 ago and they both have Covid again. They will survive this time also
“… Can anyone site Covid breakthrough cases with un-vaccinated people with natural immunity from prior infection?”
***************************************************************
Yes, one of my daughters. Next question.
??? I thought “breakthrough” means vaxxed people getting covid.
A study from Israel, available as a preprint and thus not yet peer reviewed, found that the rates of SARS-CoV-2 breakthrough infections in vaccinated individuals were significantly higher than the rates of reinfection and hospitalization in previously infected individuals (https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.08.24.21262415v1
