It's been TEN years, since the accident that took the lives of two people, dear to my heart: TiaPam and Cardhu. They were both active Freepers.
Just Amy opened a thread, requesting prayers for me, and there were almost 1,000 replies.
A friend copied every page of those posts, and bound it in a folder for me. For ten years, now, I have referred to those pages many times! The prayers, well wishes, encouragement, scriptures, and pictures have had a tremendous healing effect!
Many of the posters are no longer with us, and many are new to this forum. But those who know me, and posted on that thread, I thank you for your kind words ten years ago.
I also thank Jim Rob for giving us all the opportunity to share our thoughts, feelings, opinions and prayers every day.
Who knew that what we posted could have such a healing effect, for ten years?
WORDS MATTER
Glad to know that the support of FReepers was comforting to you, and continues to be.
I know when we had a serious family tragedy in 2013, on of my first thought was to get on FR and ask for prayers from FReepers.
Sadly, the outcome was bad, but several FReepers would ask me for updates, even months later, which was very kind.
Nice to hear!
I remember your post and felt especially bad at the time because the accident happened in my wonderful state of AZ. I pray that you have continued to heal from the tragedy and now remember only the good times you had with your beloved friends.
Bttt.

Yes, they do.
And the manner of delivery matters also.
Words certainly do matter and your words in this post, as a matter of fact, are a testament to God’s Will and have immense impact. Inspiring, to say the least. Thank you for sharing these words of gratitude and how prayers have supported you. Glory to God!
God bless and protect you, your family and loved ones. Amen.
Wow, you haven’t posted for 6 years in the forum, nice seeing ya again!
Dearest Yorkie, I am so happy to hear from you!
(((HUGS)))
So much has happened in our lives since that horrible day, but I have never forgotten you. And, ConorMacNessa continues to pray for you every day in the Jerusalem Thread.
Please stay in touch. We love you here on FR.
Love,
Mary-Lou
I pray for every person that asks. I don’t always feel the need to post it. though. I imagine there are many silent like me that are in the prayer squad.

I am also one of the silent Prayer Warriors and please do know that you can always count on my Prayers!
WOW! I feel terrible for you! Sorry you experienced that! May Christ grant you continuing Peace and Comfort from the life-changing event you had, and bring joy to your heart, to family and to friends as you get passed this.
Hi Yorkie! How nice to see you again. We miss you at Amy’s Place. 🙂
I miss you all, TOO!
I remember
Are they on the memorial wall?
It’s good to hear from you and good to hear that you’ve been healing.
It’s never easy and sometimes incredibly difficult. Keep heading in that direction! :)
Our mutual FRiend pandy has asked me several times over the years if I had seen any posts from you.
She doesn’t post here anymore but I still talk to her and she hasn’t forgotten you.
I can finally tell her I have seen you post ... and it’s good news. :)
Hi there stranger!
Good to “see” you, yorkie. Hope you are doing well.
