Question: What O2 saturation is the red-line for going to the hospital?
I have a fingertip meter coming today and would like some advice in using it to determine respiratory distress levels.

I looked it up and it said 90 to 92. Mine stays around 99, with my asthma, if it isn’t really bad.
This was a Google number. A real doctor might say different.

You’re kidding, right? Going to a hospital with low O2 levels in this day and age is insane. They will follow their well rehearsed protocol to murder you, getting paid handsomely every step of the way.
As a tag-along to your question on oxygen saturation, can one buy a portable oxygen-concentrator thingy and would that help such that you could buy time waiting for the therapeutics to work before going to the hospital?
Better off heading to the Fire Station and have them test you if you are getting consistent readings below 92%. After all, the Fire Department works for you, and they have the equipment. They can provide supplemental O2 as well.
The Fire House universally has ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) trained and qualified personnel. Usually free parking too.
You can go to the ER, and they will stick a nasal cannula on you, and everyone else, then have you sit around for hours, unless you are a bloody mess or are in cardiac arrest.
Simple.

A friend of mine went to the hospital when he was down to 82%.
He got a good Ivermectin friendly doctor and lived.
He says that anything below 80 percent and the internal organs start to shut down.
