GoFundMe freezes more than 4 million dollars raised for Canadian truckers protesting vax mandates

The 'Freedom Convoy 2022' GoFundMe page stated clearly that the money will go toward the cost of 'fuel, food and lodgings to help ease the pressures of this arduous task.'.
Fundraising website GoFundMe has frozen access to over $4 million raised for the trucker convoy headed to Ottawa in protest of Canada’s vaccine mandates. The fundraising platform is still accepting donations to the campaign, but it is unclear at this stage when the group will have access to the money.
“We require that fundraisers be transparent about the flow of funds and have a clear plan for how those funds will be spent. In this case, we are in touch with the organizer to verify that information,” Rachel Hollis, a spokeswoman for the crowdfunding platform, said in an email. “Funds will be safely held until the organizer is able to provide the documentation to our team about how funds will be properly distributed.”
The “Freedom Convoy 2022” GoFundMe page stated clearly that the money will go toward the cost of “fuel, food and lodgings to help ease the pressures of this arduous task.”
“We are taking our fight to the doorsteps of our Federal Government and demanding that they cease all mandates against its people. Small businesses are being destroyed, homes are being destroyed, and people are being mistreated and denied fundamental necessities to survive.”
According to Canadian media, as of Tuesday morning over 55,000 people had donated over 4.2 million dollars to the campaign which seeks to put an end to the dictatorial COVID-19 mandates that have been imposed on Canadians nationwide. Of particular concern was the implementation of Justin Trudeau’s federal vaccine mandate for truckers that barred “unvaccinated” truckers from making cross border deliveries.

“Today, Special Counsel John Durham provided a “discovery Update” to the court in the Michael Sussmann case. In this filing, available here, he disclosed that his team has obtained a tremendous amount of information ranging from a variety of sources – including Perkins Coie, the Hillary Clinton Campaign, and former DNC/Clinton lawyer Mark Elias.
While Sussmann has been charged with giving false statements to then-FBI General Counsel James Baker regarding the Alfa Bank/Trump Organization hoax (background here), Durham notes that the “Government also maintains an active, ongoing criminal investigation of” Sussmann’s conduct.
In other words, Sussmann’s criminal conduct likely is not limited to false statements. There is more. If we are to make an educated guess, it may have to do with the conspiracy to accuse the Trump Organization of having secret back-channel communications with Alfa Bank. We discussed the potential for a conspiracy charge here.
Now, to the evidence. Durham and his team have secured grand jury testimony from the following individuals:
Former Perkins Coie partner, and DNC/Hillary Clinton lawyer Marc Elias.
Former FBI General Counsel James Baker
Current CIA employees
Durham and his team have completed interviews of the following individuals:

More than 24 other current and former FBI employees.
Current and former employees of the CIA and DARPA.
12 Employees of the “internet companies” referenced in the Sussmann indictment.
The former chairman of DNC/Clinton law firm Perkins Coie.
A former employee of the Clinton campaign.
Current and former employees of Georgia Tech (involved in the Alfa Hoax).
An employee of “Tech Executive-1” – aka Rodney Joffe, a Sussmann client who assisted with the Alfa Bank hoax.
Still, there is more. Durham has obtained records/documents from the following entities:
The Hillary Clinton Campaign
Perkins Coie
Hillary for America
Fusion GPS
A PR Firm that advised Perkins Coie regarding public statements about Sussmann’s meeting with James Baker.
Phone logs for numerous current and former FBI employees.
“a classified memorandum and related reports of interviews pertaining to a criminal investigation previously conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding a potential leak of classified information”
He also has secured nearly 400 e-mails between the FBI and Perkins Coie from January 2016 through June 2017.
While we expected some grand jury testimony, the fact that Mark Elias, the DNC/Clinton lawyer, was before a grand jury is certainly newsworthy.
And it leads us to believe that Durham is focused on something more substantial than the false Alfa Bank allegations - perhaps the inception of it all: the claim of Russian hacking. As we have said before, consider the possibility that evidence of “Russian hacking” was placed by the DNC, Perkins Coie, et al. for Crowdstrike to conveniently “find.”

I just read that 10,000 American truckers are joining the convoy in Canada those that can’t go into Canada will stage at the border areas. And On a little bit lighter note. The convoy has set an all-time Guinness book of world records longest convoy in history

Personally I commend GoFundMe in doing this.
A person who sets up an account can state that it is going to pay for fuel, lodging etc; but people can say anything. How are they going to give to 100’s of Truckers? In the past people have set up accounts saying it is for a specific purpose to help someone or something and it was learned they helped themselves to the money.
Like I said in a posting the other day I give to GoFundMe accounts for LOCAL people who have suffered tradgedies, but even then I am careful if it says it is a FRIEND who has set up the account.

I remember some stores here covered up merchandise that wasn’t considered essential.

I am doing a lot of research on China and its capability and ground reality.
They are very strong on paper, it’s just a perception that they are strong.
People who had traveled inside China. China doesn’t have farms like the USA. They don’t have resources. Current Military recruits are from a generation of a single child policy. They are pampered.
Last year, the Chinese military attacked an Indian post and captured an Indian Colonel. Indian Army literally butchered 47 Chinese soldiers with hands, as its restriction at that part of the border they can’t use weapons. Chinese retreated and now they are on the negotiation table.
Corruption is very high in China. It is mind-boggling. Corrupt officers write data. West should not trust anything that comes out of China.
China is a barking dog.

Now, if they’d do the same with some of the more outlandish fundraisers out there….someone posted (on linked thread) that they allow sex change operation fundings to process, without hassle.
Surely, they’ll reimburse this fundraiser the interest due on such a large amount.
And, as others mentioned….there are many options to use, other than GoFundMe.

Just got this from a friend.
“I was at my eye doctor’s yesterday and the lady next to me and I started talking.
She told me she got the 2 Moderna vaccines and two weeks after the 2nd shot, she went deaf in both ears.
Her hearing came back in one ear but is still not fully back in the other one.
She was also at the ER 3 times in December with severe burning pain in her legs, from the top of her feet to the top of her thighs.
She has never had a problem like that before and she and at least one doctor think it’s related to the vaccine.
She also mentioned that BIden was not her President, our kind of gal.
I feel really bad for her.
She only got the shot because her husband has myesthenia gravis, which is a serious disease, and she didn’t want to take the chance of getting the virus and giving it to him.
Trumps grandkids will be President before Durham ever ends this. I wonder how much we are paying him? Guaranteed perpetual employment for these lawyers.
How about staging in DC or Sacramento?
