In the United States, the New York Senate is preparing to vote on a bill that would allow the forcible removal of Covid-positive individuals who are “potentially dangerous to the public health.”
The Covid-19 pandemic has allowed some states in the US – such as New York and California – to expand upon tyrannical laws, introduce mandates and other changes that pose a threat to the freedoms of citizens.
New York lawmakers appear to now be pushing for quarantine camps for individuals who test positive for Covid-19.
The bill, which is called the New York State Assembly Bill A416, will be voted on in the next legislative session on January 5th, 2022. Several changes have been involved which focus on how the pandemic is being handled. New rules include the “removal and detention of cases, contacts and carriers who are or may be a danger to public health… in the event that the governor declares a state of health emergency due to an epidemic of any communicable disease.”
It also stipulated that the governor or any of his delegates may order the removal or detention of a person or persons identified by name or by a “reasonably specific description of the individuals or group being detained.”
Additionally, it also mentioned that individuals targeted for forced removal and quarantine will be detained in a medical or other appropriate facility or premises designated by the governor.
The individuals mentioned in the Bill who could be forcibly removed from their homes do not have to test positive for Covid-19 either: they could simply be people in contact with a person who has tested positive for coronavirus.
The bill also stated that “the governor or his or her delegee may, in his or her discretion, issue and seek enforcement of any other orders that he or she determines are necessary or appropriate to prevent dissemination or transmission of contagious diseases or other illnesses that may pose a threat to the public health.”
It would also allow the governor to force individuals to be vaccinated or undergo medical intervention regardless of consent. However, the bill does clarify that “forcible administration of any medication” is not permitted without a court order, which then calls into question how easy it will be for state officials to acquire such orders.
This development is incredibly concerning, because if the bill passes, it gives the government more power to control the population, thus making medical mandates the norm.

Wherever you NYers are headed, if it’s down South to us, we welcome conservative political refugees. One of my dearest new friends is a delightful lady, staunch conservative, from NY who moved down here with her husband about 18 months ago. Everyone at my grocery store *loves* the conservative checker from NY so happy to be here and away from all the lib nonsense. Always a delight to see him and his big smile.
But we don’t take kindly to the lib economic migrants who bring their stinky politics with them. Not even our local Dems (who are way more Zell Miller than AOC) like them.

This is a total BS article from a foreign newspaper that knows nothing about the legislative process in NY. If you click on the link in the article for Assembly Bill A416, you will see the phrase “enacting clause stricken.” This means that the sponsor of legislation has withdrawn the bill and it is now dead unless another member of the Assembly steps forward to sponsor the bill. That is not going to happen.
For the record, what’s the sponsor’s name and where exactly is it from?
Inquiring minds would love to know.

The Expose article is accurate.
You state that no one else will sponsor the bill (e.g., "That is not going to happen.") You just made that part up.
I posted the article because the public needs to be aware that this fascist bill was written; they have thought this through and detailed their plans. It shouldn't exist in the first place but there it is, available for anyone to pick up and sponsor at any time.
