covid also causes pericarditis is far greater numbers than the vaccine. Strokes and other clots are a known complication of covid we were seeing early on - much earlier than the vaccine was available. I am not surprised nurses are noting higher numbers of cases. But the point was they may note the numbers they are not trained or qualified to make the diagnosis

Ah yes. It appears you only like scripture you agree with. Your argument kind of says it all. Another no substance argument what is as empty as it is hackneyed. I expected no more from you either.

“So a nurse cannot read a chart or a file?”

I trust the Nurse Practitioner at our primary care facility MUCH more than and doctor I’ve seen there.

This is what doctors will be saying in court when they get sued for willful malpractice.

— “Diagnosis is beyond the scope of practice for an RN....”

And sometimes beyond the scope of a physicians as well. Second opinions and consults and more are things you know about, one is sure. Misdiagnoses as well, from an industry which one finds:

“Medical errors are a serious public health problem and a leading cause of death in the United States. It is challenging to uncover a consistent cause of errors and, even if found, to provide a consistent viable solution that minimizes the chances of a recurrent event. By recognizing untoward events occur, learning from them, and working toward preventing them, patient safety can be improved.”

Maybe your just pulling some one’s leg for the fun of it?

Ever heard the old joke about God? Sometimes He likes playing doctor.

If they all came forward together in strength,

they could not all be gotten rid of.

They dont understand the true group power they have.

Wait! What course of study in your medical degree was entitled, New Testament Hermeneutics, NT Greek?

It sounds like you’re simply opining… 😊

What has this nurse said within the confines of his or her education that qualifies as a whistleblower.

You should have spent more time in logic class. Appeals to authority are still logical fallacies, in case you were wondering.

So someone disagrees with your strict litmus test and you want them cancelled.

You are a shill. Shills get zotted. Sometimes it takes a while, but they always do.

You’re also one of the most disgustingly arrogant and slimy shills I’ve seen shilling around here since the Romney people. That’s quite the accomplishment on your part.

There is no ‘disagreement’ here. There’s no debate, no argument worth having with you. You use propaganda and then slither away like a snake when things don’t go your way. You are nothing but a troll with an agenda. Again, sometimes it take TBTB a while to swat away little annoyances like you, but I guarantee you’re on their radar already. It’s coming. It’ll give me a nice smile when it finally happens. It is well deserved.

Actually I believe you are referring to work based off or directly from two very good texts written in the early 2000s

One is called “to Err is human” and the other “crossing the quality chasm”. When dealing with the issue at hand I agree with what the IOM has written. And there has been extensive discussion about improving safety through CRM (a theory from airline industry) on improving the quality of medicine.

And while it is a nice thought it does not change the fact that in this case based on what this RN wrote and the tone in which it was written He is not a whistleblower, he is attempting to make a diagnosis which on its face is quite shallow (hence my statement post hoc ergo propter hoc). He is entitled to his opinion. He is not entitled to call it fact. For it is not.

I don’t like shills. Haven’t noticed you, but I do love when something makes more of you come out of the woodwork. Come on out, join the party. Make yourself known. It’ll get you one step closer to your eventual fate. I’ve been here long enough to see it plenty of times. This isn’t any different.

"Diagnosis is beyond the scope or practice foe an RN."

People try to find a reason for changes in what they are seeing. If I used to see a rat in the yard once or twice a year, and now I see two or three of them every day, it's reasonable to look for an explanation.

Correlation in time does not necessarily indicate a causal relationship, but if the number of heart ailments increases significantly, people look for explanations. One variable is the Covid vaccinations, which are something new, so it is not crazy to think they might have something to do with the purported rise in heart problems, particularly since some experts predicted this would happen.

It is not an appeal to authority. It is using a definition. It is understanding qualifications. There are authorities that are appropriate. Authority is based on expertise and knowledge. This RN has not been educated in the fields that lead to the ability to diagnose. This the fallacy is accepting his opinion as anything but that. Opinion.

This is not a whistleblower. This is an opinion.

I'll be asking another doctor for a second opinion.
