First of all, blood will only come out of his neck for a short time, perhaps just seconds because when the heart stops pumping, so does the blood.

I have many stories that are far worse and don’t even compare.
However, you did the right thing as direct pressure is the number way to stop bleeding.
Bare hand eh?
A big City is not nearly as controlled as a County Jail.
I’ve had to go home in hospital scrubs many times as my uniform and other items had to be placed in double bagged Bio Haz bags for proper disposal.
I’ve had to use a condom with my wife until test came back from patients that I’ve had large exposures from. HIV and HIB testing took about 4-7 days then.
I’ve had blood in my mouth, nose, eyes, soaked into my cloths and down into my Kevlar vest, my hair (started shaving my head because of that)…….

If I ever require Jail, I sure do hope it’s nowhere around your cell block.

Is that like a private ER? You own it?
Our doctor informed us that they cannot prescribe certain therapeutics or say certain things or they would lose their license and they “have a mortgage”. So don’t be too sure you’re getting honesty from doctors either. I’d be inclined to believe medical personnel who are risking their livelihood to speak out than those who are risking nothing to regurgitate the party-line.
I run it. So when I’m the doctor F off.
