Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on Wednesday that coronavirus “vaccines are saving lives” and “are reducing mortality.”
“If you are vaccinated, fully vaccinated, the chances of you getting seriously ill or dying from Covid is effectively zero,” he said. “If you look at the people being admitted to hospitals, over 95 percent of them are either not fully vaccinated or not vaccinated. And so these vaccines are saving lives.”
DeSantis also touted the vaccines for reducing mortality rates.
“They are reducing mortality. Mortality in nursing homes since we rolled out the vaccines in December is down 95 percent due to Covid. Mortality for elderly people since we rolled out the vaccines is down nearly 90 percent,” he said. “So we’re proud in Florida that we put seniors first on that list because they were the most vulnerable. We have 85 percent of our seniors that are vaccinated and about 75 percent of folks over the age of 50. We have no mandate. We’ve provided information to people and we’ve been very honest about any data that comes out.”
DeSantis acknowledged that some vaccinated people “can test positive … but they don’t get seriously ill in except maybe rare instances, there’s always one-off on stuff.”
However, continued the governor, “in Florida, your chance of surviving if you’re vaccinated is close to 100 percent.”

Fair enough, but for those of us who have done this work every day since it’s onset, have thousands of first hand accounts, receive in depth updates regularly, get frustrated when seeing posts like yours which are just plain wrong. I don’t believe in mandates, and Dr Fauci had been horrible, and this thing was terribly politicized from the onset. Still, there is no equivocation regarding the vaccines safety and efficacy and we should all be damn glad they became available when they did. Everyone both the vaccinated and unvaccinated. I cannot tell you how many people I have seen dying in terrible circumstances and how many death certificates I have signed. If not for the vaccines God only knows how much worse it would be.

I saw the same sort of thing a decade ago with the H1N1.
This time around the rogues in Congress, (con guess) decided to take advantage of the new virus. Their stooges in the Media were all aboard with that scheme. Now everybody has to wear masks or stay home as they destroyed our Economy.
It is a type of evil that I personally never anticipated. I expected that the wickedness would cone from Asia or Arabia. Never figured that it would be home grown.
We purebloods aren't 'anti-vaxxer'. The fake poison covid 'vax' would have to be a vaccine for that to be true.
But the thing is, only one of those perspectives is correct. The evidence is pouring in that the fake poison vax is neither safe nor effective.
Anybody that advocates for it is dangerous and needs to be jumped on. Twice.
