Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on Wednesday that coronavirus “vaccines are saving lives” and “are reducing mortality.”
“If you are vaccinated, fully vaccinated, the chances of you getting seriously ill or dying from Covid is effectively zero,” he said. “If you look at the people being admitted to hospitals, over 95 percent of them are either not fully vaccinated or not vaccinated. And so these vaccines are saving lives.”
DeSantis also touted the vaccines for reducing mortality rates.
“They are reducing mortality. Mortality in nursing homes since we rolled out the vaccines in December is down 95 percent due to Covid. Mortality for elderly people since we rolled out the vaccines is down nearly 90 percent,” he said. “So we’re proud in Florida that we put seniors first on that list because they were the most vulnerable. We have 85 percent of our seniors that are vaccinated and about 75 percent of folks over the age of 50. We have no mandate. We’ve provided information to people and we’ve been very honest about any data that comes out.”
DeSantis acknowledged that some vaccinated people “can test positive … but they don’t get seriously ill in except maybe rare instances, there’s always one-off on stuff.”
However, continued the governor, “in Florida, your chance of surviving if you’re vaccinated is close to 100 percent.”

Or making anyone lose their jobs because they refused to take some vaccine.
In fact DeSantis has instituted laws in Florida to stop anyone from losing their jobs because they refused take some vaccine.

Seems like every time Trump endorses the vaccines, he throws in his line about “I’m against mandates”... but the fact that he even has to say that should be raising red flags!
Seems to me like Trump’s priorities are not quite in line here on this. The fact that he has to emphasize his opposition to mandates, but is NOT really DOING anything about them, or at least digging into the bigger questions about safety is something I find really suspicious!

I’m not looking to Trump or the governor of Florida for medical advice. Neither of them are looking to cram theirs down my throat. The media are drawing Republicans out on this topic this week, and they’re nervously complying. Next week maybe they’ll find a Republican who’s wised up and primed to rebound the question into a teaching moment about tyranny vs liberty.

Well, there is one claim that can be made which is not contradictory and is fully accurate.
The mRNA gene therapy shots do not have any long term testing. Forget the political machinations of the CDC and the FDA. It is experimental.
Unless I am damned ill & possibly terminal, I’m not getting an experimental drug that has no long term testing or track record. I’m too damn old not to have seen repeatedly over the decades highly touted drugs that turned out to be just the opposite over the longer term and caused heartbreaking damage.
Perhaps if 50%+ of the population (ALL ages!) were getting seriously ill and dying I would rethink my refusal. But the current numbers? (Which are very likely heavily massaged at the least) - Nope.

Over the course of the seventh month period, April through October 2020 -- again, a time during which no one in the state of Florida had been vaccinated -- there were a total of 16,725 deaths involving COVID recorded in the state.
For those same months in 2021 -- again, a time during which millions of Floridians became vaccinated -- Florida incurred 26,913 COVID deaths. This reflects an increase of some 61%.
Further, the single worst month for COVID deaths in the state of Florida was (post-vax) August 2021, when the state incurred 10,360 such deaths. The second worst month was (post-vax) September 2021, when the state incurred a further 8,235 such deaths. By way of comparison, the figures for (pre-vax) August 2020 and September 2020 were 4,787 COVID deaths and 2,023 COVID deaths, respectively.
[Third on the monthly death list was January 2021, as the vaccines were just being rolled out for the aged and most vulnerable. Florida incurred 5,015 COVID deaths that month.]
Post-vax August 2021 and September 2021 were also the two worst months for excess "all cause mortality" in the state of Florida since the pandemic began, with the "expected deaths" percentages for those two months coming in at 184% and 166%, respectively.
That's just what the data show, based on official death certifications made by doctors and hospitals in the state of Florida and reported to the National Center for Health Statistics.
To my mind at least, if the vaccines do work to prevent death, it is perfectly reasonable to expect that, on a population-wide basis, COVID deaths would have declined after their introduction. But that is not what has happened in Florida. Quite the contrary.
The “Trump ship” is NOT compulsory vaccination for anybody. Nor is it “take vaccines or lose your job”.
It’s never been.

I saw last February that these vaccines were complete BS and that the compulsory submission to them was inevitable. Talk about the Book of Revelation unfolding before us all. I walked away. ‘I retired.’
Whatever this crap may be, it is not the stuff of vaccines in any traditional sense. Five months later in July and 5 months again now in December, there is nothing out there to indicate that these poisons should be referred to as anything else.
I’ve read of others who also retired. If I hadn’t retired early I would have done so in this politically fed covid climate.
They are both dealing with the same issue - the PFizer contracts specify that Pfizer dictates how the vaccines are rolled out, and how the government talks about them. Failure to honor the contract can result in Pfizer being given ‘sovereign US assets’ which would include military bases, miltary hardware, taxpayer dollars - you name it.
China is using Pfizer as a stalking horse. 70 CCP members sit on PFizer’s investments board. Other countries have objected to these terms. It looks like Biden’s failure to meet the 70% ‘vaccination’ deadline in July was the reason he essentially gave China Bagram, billions in military hardware and sadly, hostages.
