At the time the Constitution was adopted a wife automatically took on the citizenship of the husband so Eric’s mother would have been a citizen and he would have been an NBC.
He is close enough for me if the plan requires it.
Born on American soil to an American father is what NBC meant at the time the Constitution was adopted.
Mrs Spokeshave is from Greece and is well familiar with growing and harvesting enough grains for the family food supply.

But laws on citizenship changed. Since wives now do not automatically assume husband’s citizenship, the original meaning still stands. Jus solis and jus sanguinus. ParentS who are citizens. Any changes to the Constitution need to be done the hard old way.
It’s a prime example of the pitfalls of have big gov as a client. Government coercion using the purse to make them enforce the mandate, even though there is no constitutionality to it IMO. Corporate fascism in real time.
Most of the medical profession receives some government payment for services rendered, Medicare, Medicaid, research grants et al so big gov can threaten to cut off the faucet if they don’t enforce the dictate.
I would also bet that much of large corporations receive money from big gov.
Big gov is also banking on companies et al not wanting the expenditure of fighting the mandate in court. Especially given some of the ridiculous federal court ruling that have come out, i.e. don’t want to play legal roulette.
Federal employees almost all are working for big gov and or the swamp, don’t have the money to fight the legality of the mandate and most probably are bidet sheeples so Jo and the ho are betting that the majority of fed employees will obey his mandate regardless of its legality.

Originalism would dictate that Eric is an NBC until the Constitution was changed along with the citizenship laws.

I look at this situation this way:
If people who wanted the jabs, they already have them;

Only because Congress changed the laws on citizenship. Either the Constitution has to be changed or Congress has to change the laws on citizenship. Did you read the massive research on NBC years ago?
I did and it is crystal clear to me. The original meaning of NBC was clearly a person born on US soil to parentS who are citizens.
Wives are not citizens by marrying a US citizen and have not for a long, long time.

Because THEY are Congress, they can do what they want...the rest of the Government, even if they think they can, cannot...that is why there is 3 branches of Government...

Natural Born Citizen is part of the Constitution and a mere law change should not be able to change it.
The best solution would be to put the definition into the Constitution itself.
I wasn’t here for the big NBC research but I understand the principle.
The problem is that the very idea of NATURAL born citizenship is that it is considered part of the laws of nature and it was based on the common law.
No mere act of Congress should be able to change who qualifies.
Russian state TV warns US ‘will be turned to radioactive ash’ over Ukraine moves

A Russian state television host threatened on Sunday that the U.S. could be “reduced to radioactive ash” if it does not meet the demands laid out by Russia for deescalating tensions around Ukraine.
Russia demanded that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) should roll back military deployments in eastern Europe and bar Ukraine and other post-Soviet nations from joining the alliance. News of the Week state-TV host Dmitry Kiselyov went on a lengthy monologue about why the U.S. and NATO should meet Russia’s demands.
“The U.S. and NATO must roll back from our borders, otherwise we will, figuratively speaking, ‘roll up’ to their borders and create symmetrical, unacceptable risks… If you put a gun to our head, we will respond in kind,” Kiselyov said.
Kiselyov went on to say, “Never before has anyone published the texts of the proposed treaties, but never before in the 21st century has the situation been so acute, and the risks so great.”
“We’re holding very strong cards in our hands,” the Russian TV host continued. “Our hypersonic weapons are guaranteed to produce a response that is so unpleasant for America to hear: being reduced to radioactive ash.”
Kiselyov’s remarks touted the flight speeds demonstrated in recent tests of Russian hypersonic weapons, like the Zircon missile.
Last month, Russian President Vladimir Putin also appeared to reference using hypersonic nuclear weapons if Russia felt threatened by NATO‘s actions around Ukraine.
“If some kind of strike systems appear on the territory of Ukraine, the flight time to Moscow will be seven to 10 minutes, and five minutes in the case of a hypersonic weapon being deployed,” Putin said during an investment forum in Moscow last month. “What are we to do in such a scenario? We will have to then create something similar in relation to those who threaten us in that way. And we can do that now.”
Last week, Putin claimed NATO forces are preparing to deploy intermediate-range nuclear forces in Europe and said Russia would be “forced” to do the same.
Despite Russia massing tens of thousands of troops near Ukraine’s borders for weeks, and past Russian aggression against Georgia in 2008 and the annexation of Crimea in 2014, Putin claimed on Tuesday that the reason for ongoing tensions in Europe is entirely the fault of the U.S. and NATO, and not anything Russia has done.
“They are to blame for what is happening in Europe now, for the escalation of tensions there. Russia had to respond at every step, and the situation was continuously going from bad to worse. It was deteriorating all the time. And here we are today, in a situation when we are forced to resolve it,” Putin said on Tuesday.
