I don’t understand the charges against the parents. Can anyone explain?

Dad gave him the gun and mom at some point that day, knew what he was going to do because she texted him; “Don’t do it”, yet never called authorities or the school.

Can’t explain but the charges are
The Crumbleys were charged Friday with four counts of involuntary
manslaughter over the shooting their 15-year-old son, Ethan, is
accused of carrying out on Tuesday, when four students were killed
and seven other people were wounded at Oxford High School.

I believe they were complicit in obtaining at least one gun (via a straw purchase) for their felonious son.
Apparently the mother actually begged about it online...

I don't understand them either. I'd like to know what specific statutes they were charged with violating. I could see something contributing to the death of another person or something like that. Something substantive, like any laws on securing weapons in the home, illegally purchasing a gun as a gift to a minor, whatever...

“I don’t understand the charges against the parents. Can anyone explain?”
the prosecutors are alleging that the parents acted recklessly by providing a gun to someone they knew was a hight risk to kill someone. Reckless Homicide, also referred to as Involuntary Manslaughter.
