Get your tissues out—New Piano Guys music video showcases dads and daughters performing together
Dads Jon Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson aren’t your typical fathers. Better known as The Piano Guys, they’ve become viral stars online with almost 7 million subscribers on YouTube and a reputation for incredible performances and epic music videos. But at the end of the day, they’re still dads, and their love for their daughters is as sweet as any father-daughter relationship can be.
In their latest music video, that tender connection is on display as they joined father-daughter singing duo Mat and Savanna Shaw in a touching new music video. The song, “Grow As We Go,” was originally released by Broadway star and actor Ben Platt in 2019. Cellist Steven Sharp Nelson is joined by his daughter Lucy on violin, and pianist Jon Schmidt plays alongside his daughter Sarah.
The lyrics and visuals of the new video hint at the special relationship both father and daughter have shared up to this point, and how they both still need to learn and grow. Viewers also sense the father’s desire for his little girl not to distance herself as she navigates through life and its challenges.

Absolutely beautiful! Thanks.
Not special. Go to the store and buy plain yogurt with active cultures. Be very careful to buy plain and not vanilla or coconut flavor, etc. Just plain.
Also get some powdered milk and a gallon of whole milk. This will make a rich, creamy yogurt.
You will also need a pot to heat the milk on the stove, a candy thermometer, and a large crock pot (enough for a gallon), or rice cooker, or even better, an insulated ice bucket which would be large enough to hold a gallon of milk.
Mix two cups of powdered milk with some of the regular milk. This is to make is to add the powdered milk to whole batch and make a smooth mixture without having to chase down lumps in the larger amount. It doesn’t really matter to the result if you add the powdered milk and the entire gallon. I just find it easier this way.
Put the large pot on the stove, add the milk. SLOWLY heat the milk to 170℉. I use the candy thermometer to make sure. Slowly heat it to avoid scorching the milk on the bottom of the pan. Often sufficient heating is achieved when small bubbles form on the surface and then slowly break. DO NOT LET THE MIXTURE BOIL. For Dad and me this week, that situation happened at less than 170, so don’t be married to that exact number.
Remove from heat. Allow the mixture to cool down to 110℉. Now, I have no idea why you slowly heat the milk to 170 and then cool down to 110. That seems silly. However, I was told by someone at sometime that internal chemical changes occur just by the heating and cooling process. So, I do it that way.
When cooler, at between 1/2 cup and 1 cup of the plain yogurt. If you had added it when the milk was hot, the cultures would have died and you just would have had weird milk. This way, the cultures can grow and multiply and affect the whole. Stir slowly to distribute the yogurt throughout the milk mixture. Don’t stir fast because the milk is entering a resting state. Things should be quiet for the solution.
Pour the milk into an insulated container. I have used a large ice bucket, a small cooler, a crockpot, a pottery pot, a rice cooker, and a stockpot wrapped in towels. The idea is for the mixture to stay relatively warm, about 20 - 30 degrees higher than room temperature, for 12 to 24 hours.
Cover with lid and RESIST THE URGE TO PEEK! Go away and forget about it. The next day ~ and with Dad, it was 24-hours ~ open it and you should have a thick, creamy yogurt.
For Greek-style yogurt, place the regular yogurt just made, or even a few days old, in a cheesecloth bag or strainer and let it hang while the whey drips out. That will take several hours or even a few days. This part needs to be refrigerated, I think. What is left is a good, thick, Greek-style yogurt.
To me, it tastes like sour milk.
Be sure to save a cup of your new yogurt to be a starter for the next batch.
Morning lysie - thanks for breakfast.
Looks like Julian Assange is headed for the U.S. He will disappear into the Biden system. This trial for Maxwell is being kept so secret - the criminals. Comey’s daughter - I don’t know why nobody complained about THAT. She will bring out all kinds of witnesses about Ghislaine and Epstein, find Maxwell guilty, and throw her behind bars. NOTHING will come out about the cabal who used her services, or her overlords. Nothing.
Good morning, lysie!
An All-American breakfast for this cold Friday morning!
With BACON!
Thank you!
Upsetting. I know.
Good morning, exit. You are welcome.

Remember this?
“Republicans earlier this fall agreed in early October to help Democrats temporarily raise the debt ceiling by $480 billion; however, after the vote, Schumer lambasted Republicans. After Schumer’s Senate floor screed, McConnell promised that they would not help Democrats raise the debt ceiling.
McConnell even sent a letter to President Joe Biden saying he would “not be a party to any future effort to mitigate the consequences of Democratic mismanagement.””
Well so much for that promise. McConnell just helped them and raised the toxic Biden agenda from the dead once more.
F’ing turtle.

Kamala Harris called the attack on #Jussie a “modern-day lynching.” But why would #Jussie need to stage the lynching? Obviously because these things hardly occur any more. Where reality contradicts the leftist narrative, events must be orchestrated to sustain the illusion
Biden provided weapons to The Taliban to kill Christians and Jews
Supply and Demand
Not enough real racial discrimination and racial hate crimes to meet the demand created by the democrats divisive narrative.
So enterprising blacks and liberals like Smollet step into the breech and create fake discrimination to meet the need.
Didn’t she steal that line from Justice Thomas?
LOL, I think you’re right!
Great out-of-the-box thinking
Thx LG, it’s nice to step away from the mess our country is in and experience something beautiful.
And Good Morning!
People that have always lived under socialism don’t know what liberty is. I hate to see us fall into it.
Good morning Lysie! How’s everything?
Irritating, to say the least.
Good morning, Rusty. We are fine. A little warmer today and will be that way for the next few days.
