It’s been just over seven months since radio legend Rush Limbaugh died - and eight since signing off for his final show on February 2, 2021.
Radio personalities come and go, sometimes quietly and even mysteriously. At times, station managers invoke soviet-era tactics, surreptitiously making talent changes overnight. It’s the nature of the business, not wanting to promote another station or call attention to a departing personality. One day a host is advertising a local car dealership, the next day they’re gone. Explanations are rarely given – they’re into the ether and out of our lives.
But not Rush.
A fixture on the dial for over 30 years, Rush Limbaugh was woven into the fabric of weekday radio life. Critics couldn’t stand him, but they couldn’t ignore him either. No matter where you were in America, you could find him somewhere mid-morning or early afternoon, the familiar beat of “The Pretenders” opening each hour of every show. Regardless of what was happening in the world, you could be sure he had an informed opinion about it.
Those of us who listened were often accused of being mind-numbed robots, waiting on and taking our marching orders from Limbaugh. Nothing could have been farther from the truth. Rush didn’t tell us what to think – he simply articulated the principles we already believed and used his massive megaphone to encourage others to stand strong.

I think Steven Crowder, with his humor comes closest to Rush.
You are greatly missed Maha Rushie (╥﹏╥)
MEGA DITTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miss him so much!!!!!!!!!!
He would have outdone himself. Biden is more ridiculous than either Clinton or Obama. When you add in the circumstances of his "election defeat" of President Trump, the combination would have had Rush going on a rampage.
Can you imagine the parody ads and skits he would have had!

Have plenty of kleenex handy.
Oh my gosh, yes, he would have been hilarious on the Brandon meme.
Rush was genius because he knew an ounce of laughing at them was better than a pound of vitriol.
Forces we are against are beyond the work of anyone man to overcome. What they did was contribute to the consciousness that has fought against this leviathan.
And James Golden has a radio show.
EVERY decent human being misses Rush.
He was on our hearts and minds, though.

Yes. But Xiden is undoing himself and that Administration of his without any help at all. We are going to see a Congress controlled by the opposing party come the elections of 2022.
I just referenced him yesterday how all the media were saying the exact same thing about how Darnell was fleeing a knife fight
All in unison, same words, at the same time on the morning news
Think of his wisdom every day
Snerdley was outstanding! He has a show? I’ll have to look that up!

When Rush made his announcement about his cancer I wrote him a note in one of the prayer threads on his site. I told him I had listened to him since his first day on the air and that I was praying for him. I promptly forgot about the note, but not the praying.
3 or 4 months later I got a package. In it was a picture of Rush getting his Medal, 2 Rush t shirts and a jacket, and a thank you note. I, for the life of me, couldn’t figure out where it came from. After a while I realized it was the result of my note to him, from Rush’s people as a generous thank you for being a listener.
I loved listening to his show the day before Christmas. Last year was a tough one but I was so happy I did!!!! Rush will be forever in my heart!!!!! Hope to meet him one day on the other side!!!!!!!!!!
“Yep. He would be having so much fun this past 90 days as the progressive house collapses on itself.”
I have thought that many times recently, he would have laughed at them, but also communicated how deadly serious their incompetence is for our nation.
As a Rush 24/7 subscriber, I go back and watch the broadcast for this date last year. It’s amazing how you can feel like he’s literally still here when he goes into people and events....
I miss Rush too.😞
