Looking at it dispassionately it does appear that the conviction is suspect. There is compelling evidence that he wasn’t the guy who did it. But I guess the kneejerk reaction is to always howl for blood. Like liberals.
How have they modified it? My position has always been that if the evidence proves beyond a reasonable doubt that someone committed murder, then they should be executed for it.
I have long objected to tax payers being sentenced to "life in prison."
