What do folks use on tunafish, instead of mayo?

Mustard, believe it or not....

or smashed up avacado, or hummus.

If you don't use mustard, add ground turmeric (for health, not taste).

If you want taste, add a dash of dried chili pepper and cumin.

I make my own Miracle Whip… in a wide mouth pint jar, put 1 cup avocado oil, one fresh raw egg, 1 Tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, pinch of sea salt. Use an electric hand blender stick that fits inside the jar and just spin it until it emulsifies into delicious mayo. Keeps in the fridge about a week.
