Mom needed to go to prison, not just lose her welfare. I never watched that movie. I couldn't stomach looking at that great slab of flesh with slits for eyes and a hankerin' for KFC for two hours.
I seen too many Precious's in real time for one lifetime.

I remember hearing a public service announcement on the radio on the East Coast, a woman's voice over about being angry at her man that he had another woman. Then her voice broke as she asked, "But what do you do when the 'other woman' is your nine-year-old daughter?"
This was over 25 years ago, btw.
