“Precious” was a disturbing movie. The revelation near the end that her mother’s “man” had been boning her as a toddler was more than a decent person could stomach. Mom needed to go to prison, not just lose her welfare.

I never watched that movie. I couldn't stomach looking at that great slab of flesh with slits for eyes and a hankerin' for KFC for two hours.

I seen too many Precious's in real time for one lifetime.

The movie was worth viewing. You got to see why Precious was so badly damaged mentally and physically that she tried to destroy her body with food.
