San Francisco and seven other Bay Area counties recently set three-pronged criteria for lifting indoor mask mandates: (1) Community transmission is moderate, as defined by the CDC, for at least three weeks, (2) hospitalization numbers are low and stable, and (3) 80 percent of the total population is fully vaccinated or eight weeks have passed since COVID-19 vaccines have been available for kids age 5 to 11.

To prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed, the key group we need to vaccinate is really the elderly. The risk of hospitalization for an unvaccinated person over 80 is 25 times that for an unvaccinated person under 18. A Financial Times analysis of data from the U.K. found vaccinating 25,000 children had the same effect on hospitalizations as vaccinating just 800 adults over age 60. Unvaccinated elderly adults are just that much more likely to become severely ill with COVID-19. You can’t compensate for a low vaccination rate among older adults by vaccinating more people in younger groups, says Müge Çevik, a virologist at the University of St. Andrews.

You be sure to do that. There were 60,423 people who died of COVID in September 2021 who won't be able to do so. Nor will the 31,733 (and counting) from October 2021.
If the vaccines work to prevent death, why is it the case, when millions of Americans have now been vaccinated, COVID deaths are way, way up compared to the same time last year, when no one had been vaccinated?
Some other viruses have animal reservoirs or vectors and were eradicated by vaccines. That really has nothing to do with it.

Not enough people have been vaccinated.
Show your data. Don't depend on the people in Washington DC who have a conflict of interest in judging the actual effects.
Remember who is immune to lawsuits. Remember who recommended to OSHA that they set aside their reporting rule for adverse reactions to inoculation. Remember that reporting adverse reactions is not mandated, so that some small percentage of adverse events are reported to the CDC.
I agree with you generally about vaccine but these COVID clot-shots do not work and the mRNA vaccines are killing for too many people.
If these vaccines actually worked people would line up and pay hard earned money to get them.

I know people that have gotten Covid twice (they worked on a Covid floor of a Hospital). They didn’t get it a 3rd time (and probably won’t).
Vaccination immunity IS NOT and has never been better than Natural immunity for the vast amount of people infected with diseases.
The Immunity provided by these vaccines is TERRIBLE. There weren’t be boosters if it wasn’t terrible. duh.

My immunity has been terrific and science has shown that vaccine immunity is superior.
There is a good reason for this and I can explain it to you if you like. Its the same reason they use monoclonal antibodies as a treatment for covid instead of poly global antibodies. It has to do with selected antigenicity.

In countries with double the vaccination rates of the US (Singapore), they still have exponential spread among the vaccinated With 1) the unvaccinated unable to go out to eat or to the store, 2) Mandatory outdoor masking AND 3) taking infected 5 year olds away from their parents for 14 days of "covid camp" at the hospital.

The Study the CDC sites compares previously infected people with shot and without shot and doesn’t compare vaccinated people who have NEVER had covid to people that have had covid.
