Yes, we got Burmese — and not the overbred kind with the unhealthy pushed-in faces. Two brothers. They are getting over their colds, but still have the occasional sneeze. When I told the vet my story about ivermectin she said, “Yes, it’s a miracle drug.” But she still didn’t offer any for the kittens — since it’s an anti-parasitic!
My cold was self-diagnosed. There’s no guarantee that it came from a kitten, but the timing was amazing, as was the rapid resolution.
We paid for kittens a couple of times. Mrs. AZLiberty’s first cat was an adopted old-style Siamese, before the breeders made them look like skinny rats. By the time she wanted to replace him, she had to get a pair of Tonkineses instead. Later we also got a beautiful pair of Bengals.
Once we had children we started collecting neighborhood rescue cats, including a couple of litters under our deck. Our daughter, who knows where to find the best of everything, recently found the Indian Spring Cattery.
The cross-country trip worked out perfectly, despite the false flag threat in Northern Virginia that weekend. We even got to see my niece in Martinsburrg, WV, so both of us added another state to our visited list. Neither of us had been to West Virginia before. Lovely place, with great highways — thanks to KKK Grand Wizard Robert Byrd!

Thank you for the information. I’ve been waiting for the recent census summary to be released and it looks like the information is trickling out starting with this nugget. Muslims account for 3.7% of the population at this point, up from 1.2% at the last census. They tend to have more children per couple than non-muslims.
