Shows like 'The Rookie' and 'The Boys' have already decided to ban live guns on set
Internal discussions at major film and TV studios are reportedly underway to address calls for a ban on having real guns on set. However, it’s unlikely that a blanket ban will come from a network or studio level any time soon.

Why not ban Alex Baldwin?
Actors are morons and should not be allowed sporks on set. Let alone guns.
Isn’t it amazing how we had westerns galore (both tv and movies) in the 60’s and innumerable crime shows and movies in thee 70’s without any of these types of incidents.
But those on the sets were likely veterans and had respect for guns.
Anything to help move along the demise of Hollywood is fine with me!
No guns in movies = no movies!

Next -—> Hollywood bans anything but LGBTQ chick flicks.
Of course this will/has lead to taking away guns completely.
I am really at a lost on this one.
Here’s a couple thoughts that come to mind.
1. If this had happened to Hannity, or Gutfeld or Dana Perino etc. Ole’ Alec would be harping on this 24/7. Our side feels very bad for the victim and Alec, but the left would never let anyone forget if it happened to our side... (yeah, “our side”)
2. How did this happen? The victim wasn’t even in the scene. Not even not the set. SO DID OLE’ ALEC JUST POINT THE GUN AT HER, FOR A JOKE AND PULLED THE TRIGGER?
3. How did the second person get injured? Did the bullet go through the victim then into him? OR...or did Ole’ Alec shoot him too?
4. Why is there nada coverage on this, other than to discuss the banning of guns on sets?
The needle on my Schadenfreude meter got pegged so hard on this one that it broke in half. Banning guns on movie sets would put Hollywood out of business in about a year
Hallmark will still make movies.
I have never seen a gun in a Hallmark movie.
Accidental? There was nothing accidental about it. If it wasn’t intentional, it was negligent.
Liberals, like children, should never be allowed to play with guns unless supervised by a responsible adult.
I cannot fathom why real guns are ever allowed on a set. Surely some company somewhere should be able to make realistic replicas that cannot chamber a round.
And let special effects add the boom and the flash.
The explanation I heard (grain of salt), is that they were testing the setup for a shot where Baldwin fires the mean old gun while the camera is looking down the barrel; the person who was shot was looking either through the lens or very near the camera to see how the shot would look.
It was apparently very realistic.
They doi it now and can be pretty convincing. The dumb actors just need to put a little recoil in their action
They are like feral dogs, they bite the stick that beats them rather than the hand holding the stick itself.
Lions are not like that.Hit a lion with a stick. It will tear the hand right off the offending arm.

Will you vote for a Dog or a Lion? Who knows, but you have to decide beteen kibbles and raw meat.
