George Takei’s decades-long feud with William Shatner is rocketing into space.
The “Star Trek” actor threw enough shade at his former on-screen captain to cause an eclipse, as he dismissed Shatner’s flight this week on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin capsule and described him as “not the fittest specimen.”
“He’s boldly going where other people have gone before,” snarked Takei, 84, when Page Six asked him what he thought of Captain Kirk’s brief trip Wednesday to the edge of space.
“He’s a guinea pig, 90 years old and it’s important to find out what happens,” Takei added, as he spoke at the opening of “Thoughts of a Colored Man” on Wednesday night.
“So 90 years old is going to show a great deal more on the wear and tear on the human body, so he’ll be a good specimen to study. Although he’s not the fittest specimen of 90 years old, so he’ll be a specimen that’s unfit!”

Takei is confused. He is a committed democrat, yet he was actually held in an FDR concentration camp for Japanese Americans. You’d think he would have something against the party that imprisoned his family. Stockholm syndrome is apparently a persistent condition.
Didn’t actually read your comment before I posted. I’d made a similar comment on a Shatner thread yesterday, and that was my first objective on this thread.
He's 90 friggin' years old, the fact that he's alive at all makes him pretty damned fit. If you make it to 90 at all then you're fit by definition.
Takei is just lucky he wasn't dead of AIDS 30 years ago, he needs to shut his man pleaser.
If George Takei were white, he would have been issued a red uniform and ended up dead in his first episode as part of an "away team".
just go suck a dk Takie and stfu...
Precisely! One of the requirements to qualify to ride on the Blue Origin Bezos rocket was to be able to climb seven flights of stairs to the top of the launch tower in order to enter the capsule. Shatner did it without any help proving he’s not unfit.
What a jealous a hole.
Well he got what he wanted in Star Trek VI. He was captain of his own ship ... and absent for 95% of the movie. He wasn't missed.
The rest of the Original cast seemed to have a great time without him.
For whatever reason, liberals do not hold Democrats responsible for the Japanese internment, or the Democrats control of the Jim Crow south.
I’m surprised he wasn’t happily talking about being molested as a young child again.
Agree. Takei jealous. Go Capt Kirk
“For whatever reason, liberals do not hold Democrats responsible for the Japanese internment, or the Democrats control of the Jim Crow south.”
Of course not, because they came up with this devious explanation, with the help of the media, that all the political alignments did the ole’ flippity floppity reverski where Republicans became Democrats and vice versa, about 60 years ago. I’m sure I’m not telling you anything, but it’s certainly just as absurd as I just explained it.
Just like the media successfully swapped the party colors some time ago as well, since the obvious connection of Red to the Communists didn’t reflect well on their preferred Democrat Party. There is no lie they won’t tell, no Low they won’t stoop to.
Oh come on, George Takei had lots of huge roles, including “soldier in hospital (uncredited),” “helmsman aboard Japanese ship (uncredited),” “Police Captain,” “Vietnamese captain,” “Captain Nim,” and “Mr. Asano’s majordomo,” and “Yamahita” in Jerry Lewis’ screwball WWII flick!
What a bitter queen!
Takei is seriously mentally unfit. He was sexually abused when he was 13 by a camp counselor, but he considers it his introduction to homosexuality. He is saying, “Screw #MeToo.” With that kind of brain, he is incapable of recognizing his projection onto Shatneer.
Takei is such a little female dog.
Poor Sulu. I guess he is jealous that they havent sent up the first chinese f@gg0t into space to boldly go where everyone has gone before in his zero space
