Takei is confused. He is a committed democrat, yet he was actually held in an FDR concentration camp for Japanese Americans. You’d think he would have something against the party that imprisoned his family. Stockholm syndrome is apparently a persistent condition.
For whatever reason, liberals do not hold Democrats responsible for the Japanese internment, or the Democrats control of the Jim Crow south.
