Divorcée Melinda Gates touched down in New York City dressed to impress.

Billionaire Bill Gates’ ex-wife was spotted arriving at the Big Apple via helicopter on Sunday wearing all designer-label duds.

The price tag for the casual but chic outfit? Close to $5,000.

First up: A light pink Givenchy cardigan sweater that retails for $1,790.

Melinda also appeared to be wearing Givenchy low-top sneakers that cost $495 and carrying a black Balenciaga tote bag that retails for $1,290.

The 57-year-old finished the ensemble with a pink animal-print face mask.

Melinda finalized her divorce from Bill — the fourth-richest person in the world — two months ago after 27 years of marriage.

As I suspected, you don't know squat about whether Melinda Gates is a climate change activist. You do, however, have uncontrolled anger issues.

Many, many years ago I went to a small college in Western Pennsylvania. Since we were young and shy the first people we bonded with were people from our own state, which in my case was NJ. A fellow Jerseyite was dating this girl who to call ugly was an affront to ugly women. It was almost nauseating to watch them canoodling. But I was polite and never commented on it.

The next year I saw him again and he was dating a new girl so one day I asked him about his old girlfriend. He asked me if I had ever heard of the Sperry-Rand corporation. When I said I did he replied that she was a Sperry, which proves that all the money in the world can't change who you are.

If you do a little poking around on the site you will find threads on Ben and Jerry being hammered over the decision not to sell ice cream in Israel. The only problem with that is that neither Ben nor Jerry have been selling ice cream since they sold out to Unilever many years ago. But it doesn't matter. Their name is on it, they own it.

When they start calling it the Bill Gates Foundation you may have a point. But it isn't and she owns it.

Clothing wise, very few things will send me into ‘ranting’ space....

.....that said, when I see a western woman or teenager wearing shredded or torn jeans, I think they are very poor shoppers and they pay outrageous amounts for clothing that folks wear in Third World conditions.

To myself, it’s an outward sign of ARROGANCE wearing the torn/shredded clothing.... trying to look like they are being wise and spending money only to show their shallowness.
