LOVE IT!!!

Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.

Q describes this awakening as follows:

"The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding 'mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but, more importantly, aid in the construction of a vehicle (a ‘ship’) that provides the scattered (‘free thinkers’) with a ‘starter’ new social-networking platform which allows for freedom of thought, expression, and patriotism or national pride (the feeling of love, devotion and sense of attachment to a homeland and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment).

When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.

When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.

"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

The choice is yours, and yours alone.

Trust and put faith in yourself.

You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

Difficult truths will soon see the light of day.

WWG1WGA!!!" ~ Q (#3038)

The video, Qanon is 100% coming from the Trump Administration, is just one of many excellent responses to the all-important question, "Whom does Q serve?"

Q Boot Camp is a quick, condensed way to learn the background and basics about the Q movement.

Q has reminded us repeatedly that together, we are strong. As the false "narrative" is destroyed and the divisive machinery put in place by the Deep State fails, the fact that patriotism has no skin color or political party is exposed for all to see.

In the battle between those who strip us our constitutional rights, we can't afford to let false divisions separate us any longer. We, and our country, will be forever made stronger by diligently seeking the truth, independence and freedom of thought.

Where We Go 1, We Go All

In my opinion “saving face” is a racist term. You think they care? It is BS. You excuse it by just mentioning it.

“Oooh, I donawanna fail., must save face and ass.”

Bull shine.

LOL... top 3 foods for me lima beans, pinto beans, pickles.

Yeah.. horse paste not so bad.

Old story- I was 6. My mom had made pinto beans. I have no idea what was in them, but there was no meat. I refused to eat them. My dad, Marine, well, this was the hill to die on for him. He was going to win and make me eat the beans. For me, the 6 yr/o, this was the hill I was going to die on, so I was going to win.

We seriously sat there for 3 hours. I could not go to bed until I had a bite and I said I’m NOT taking a bite. My mom put my sisters to bed and Dad and I sat there until 9 pm.

And I won!!!!!!! Hahahahahahhaha. To this day I tease him about him, big strong Marine being defeated by a 6 yr/o. It has turned into a funny family story. Ah good times.

Bonjour y'all! Laissez le bon Trump rouler!!!

Know your Nautical terminology

parbuckle
A method of lifting a roughly cylindrical object such as a spar. One end of a rope is made fast above the object, a loop of rope is lowered and passed around the object, which can be raised by hauling on the free end of rope.

A small example

Salvage of USS Oklahoma using parbuckling following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Short video here.

WHAT IS 面子 “MIANZI”?

http://blog.tutorming.com/business/what-does-mianzi-mean

Excerpt:

The English expression “to save face” comes from the Chinese word for face (面子 miànzi), which describes one’s reputation or dignity in social contexts. Concepts of honor, prestige, and respect exist in every culture, but in China, they play an instrumental part of most social interactions, especially in the business world. Mianzi promotes trust and respect, which are crucial to gradually building guanxi (关系guānxì), or connections, the engine oil of the Chinese economy. Mianzi is often misunderstood as narcissism possibly because of the popularity of fancy cars, designer clothing, and all the other trappings of status-obsession seen in major Chinese cities. However, the Chinese concept of mianzi actually has much less to do with individual perspective than with collective interests and opinion. Mianzi is, in fact, something that is given or lent to someone rather than self-presumptive, marking a significant difference with the Western view of social status.

SOCIAL CURRENCY

Face is something that can be given (给面子gěimiànzi), lost (丢脸 diūliǎn), or fought for (爭面子 zhēng miànzi), and is measurable and quantifiable to anyone with the right cultural and contextual knowledge to assess it. Since humility is at the same time very important in the Confucian tradition, face is often most meaningful when it is given, especially in the presence of important people like clients or government officials. For instance, as a favor, someone might extoll on friend’s virtues, thank him for a job he did in the past, or present a gift as an act of giving face to someone with whom he has a good relationship. The exchange of favors is very important for mianzi, which is why not being reciprocated for an enthusiastic greeting or having an offer of a gift turned down is very embarrassing (丢脸 diūliǎn), or costly to one’s reputation. The fact that many Chinese compete over the bill at restaurants in a struggle to win face (爭面子 zhēng miànzi) is a testament to how powerful this social currency is.

One’s mianzi is sort of a like a credit system for one’s trustworthiness and reliability without which it would be very difficult to function in society, somewhat akin to how it is hard to buy a house or a car without a good credit history in the United States. For hundreds of years, Chinese business operated on the mianzi honor code where a gentleman’s reputation provided him with credit for making business deals. In the absence of a commercial legal system and government regulators, the unspoken rules of mianzi would also help resolve business deals by determining who was to have more power and influence due to his mianzi. The worst crime someone could commit in this code of chivalry was to not care about appearances (不要脸 bùyào liǎn) or about what society thought of him, making it an obligation at times for the well-off to demonstrate their wealth as an indication of their good will towards society. The celebration of one’s status can thus be counter-intuitively thought of as an act of unselfish behavior, at least in some circumstances.

MIANZI IN CHINA TODAY

The importance of saving face in Chinese companies means that it is always a good idea to greet the boss in the morning, and not to refuse him if he offers something to you. It also means that conflict is routinely avoided, especially in public. Some Western professionals may feel the Chinese workplace lacks honesty because of the information which they may be getting from a co-worker, but this is usually due to a misunderstanding that occurs when a Chinese co-worker tells a white lie to save face for someone in the office. Between two Chinese people, the lie would be understood as a necessary avoidance of strain on the social harmony of the office, and there would be implicit knowledge all around that there was no intent to deceive.

Observing mianzi remains important in everyday work to avoid scaring people away from working with you. If you are seen as someone who is insensitive to the unspoken rules of conduct with respect to everyone’s mianzi, then it will be hard to accomplish much in the way of teamwork. That being said, many young people, especially those that work in tech companies, have a much more relaxed interpretation of mianzi that might not involve ritual social behaviors like drinking baijiu.

ADJUSTING COMMUNICATION

It is always a good idea to find ways you can make the people you are working with feel that they have gained face when you interact with them. In general, making a point of praising others may be more important than avoiding putting blame on anyone. Communication is much more indirect in China, and it is normal to cite external causes for a problem which might be related to someone in the office. Try to be consistently positive, and exaggerate a little, since “great” actually means means good, “good” means okay, and “okay” could mean not so good.

Part of the difficulty foreigners have with understanding mianzi is that Chinese business culture revolves around non-verbal communication, making it crucial to be able to interpret a counterpart’s position through his or her feelings and actions. Oftentimes “no” might be the answer to one’s question, but since “no” is an embarrassing thing to say for both parties, the actual answer can sometimes only be read between the lines. As one Chinese business leader interviewed in BBC documentary on guanxi explains, mianzi is sometimes about people “saying something nice things to each other... but at the end of the day, it’s actions.” The act of giving mianzi builds an implicitly understood and personally intimate consensus founded on hundreds of years of tradition that existed before there were corporate lawyers and deal negotiators.

Saving Face

https://www.chinasource.org/resource-library/blog-entries/saving-face/

Excerpt:

....In Chinese culture the concept of face is a very important part of social interaction and is specific to the group or family to which the person belongs. Face is also influenced by status either achieved through individual competition or effort or ascribed by wealth, social connections, or authority. Some members have a higher status than others, but they all contribute to the face of the group.

Members are expected to behave in accordance with their place in the hierarchy whether higher or lower in accordance with the Confucian hierarchy. When one person achieves something, he or she increases the face of the group. When one person misbehaves or speaks negatively of the group, they may decrease the face of the group.

There are two words that describe face in Chinese and sometimes they are used interchangeably. One is mianzi 面子 and the other is lian 脸. Mianzi refers to the group’s perceptions of their social status. The social interaction of its members can either gain or lose mianzi. Lian refers to the trust or confidence that the group has in its member. Every member receives lian when they become part of the group. A person can gain lian but loss of Iian results from unacceptable behavior and may not be able to be restored.

When Asians interact with Americans, they are often confused by their behavior. Younger Americans often do not show respect to older people in the way Asians expect. They are often quite disrespectful in their speech and actions. At the same time, Americans are confused by this concept as they are socialized to express their own opinion rather than to defer to older people and are often less sensitive to what others think about what they say and do.

Indeed, the actions that give face are similar to the actions expected of a child towards their parents. That is one should show respect for others as they interact (polite speech, giving more space, offering the best seat and the best food at a meal), sharing resources with others, and being kind and respectful when speaking to others in public.

In developing relationships with Chinese, it is important to consider what you say about them as well as what they share with you. Remember that you are not only speaking about the person individually, but also speaking about their family or group.
