Federal workers given until Nov. 9 to get COVID vaccines or face consequences
Employees who refuse to be vaccinated or provide proof of vaccination can be fired, OPM says.
The Office of Personnel Management is giving federal workers until Nov. 9 to comply with President Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate or face consequences that could include firing.
“Employees who refuse to be vaccinated or provide proof of vaccination are subject to disciplinary measures, up to and including removal or termination from federal service," OPM Director Kiran Ahuja wrote in a memo Friday. "The only exception is for individuals who receive a legally required exception pursuant to established agency processes."
Enforcement proceedings can begin the day of the deadline, and OPM urged workers not to wait until the last minute to get inoculations.
Biden issued an executive order last month requiring all federal workers to get vaccinations.
Looks like OPM has thrown down the gauntlet. I'm not getting their poison injected into my body, so it looks like they'll be forced to fire me unless they grant a religious exemption, which looks increasingly like they won't do. We'll see what happens.
And here they thought that the Democrats loved them.

Make them hold the disciplinary hearings—and hand out copies of the Nuremberg code to all in attendance.

The Safer Federal Workforce Task Force is led by the White House COVID-19 Response Team, the General Services Administration (GSA), and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to ensure the safety of federal workplaces during the pandemic. So as you can see, many federal workers could be out of job come 22 Nov 2021, or shortly thereafter.

“Medical, Immune exemption: Evidence of existing immunity (e.g., by serologic antibody test, documentation of previous infection or natural infection presumed)”
“Health care professionals are available for consultation regarding exemption recommendations. Both health care professionals and service members are encouraged to contact the DHA Immunization Healthcare Support Center at 877-438-8222 (DSN 761-4245), Option 1, for vaccine medical exemption guidance.”
I believe these long-standing policies still apply to the military and logically should be respected for federal civilian employees too.
The governments of Europe and Israel recognize and respect natural immunity.
Note: I support indicated vaccination when truly voluntary.
They need to hurry this up and get it done BEFORE the Ivermectin knock-offs (Pfizermectin, Ivermerckin, and
Modernmectin) actually put an end to this virus.
The union at my location is firmly in the hip pockets of local management. Many people, including myself, have tried to contact them with no replies. They won’t stand up for anyone, and will likely assist in our firings.
Finally a real chance at reducing the federal workforce!
In Europe, they currently accept naturally acquired immunity:
“In order to claim the Green Pass it is necessary to provide at least one of the following: vaccination certification, details showing that you have recovered from covid-19, or a recent test with negative results.”
In the future, as vaccines get updated to recent strains, just having natural immunity to an older strain is not likely to be acceptable.
And yes, I will make them play the game and stretch this out however long I can. I have documentation that I am preparing to give to them when the hearings start.

Hard to see any non-Muslim exceptions being approved by OPM Director Kiran Ahuja.
If Trump tried to pull this, three Hawaiian judges would have nationwide injunctions in place and the House would have articles of impeachment drawn up before the ink was dry on the order.
We’ll see how much of our Republic is left by how this plays out. Things are going to be real interesting by Thanksgiving. Buy your turkeys early.
If there is a silver lining, and if there is ever going to be another non-establishment president, being able to fire government civilians en masse via executive order could become very useful.

If there is any way you can go for early retirement, then do it.
In the meantime get those resumes out there...if you have technical skills there are many employers who need them very badly right now.
You can play out the string and force them to fire you—it will probably take months.
The government workers are finding out that the Democrat politicians don’t really care whether government workers live or die.
