There is a weird phenomenon that I have experienced.
In theory, a patient should rely on the expertise of the Doctor to come to a diagnosis
I was lectured by a Doctor on this say with him saying the internet is unfiltered.
In theory, he is right
But in reality - it just doesn’t work that way
I asked a surgeon a question I already knew the answer to. WHen he said he never heard of it I just let it go. Internally I rolled my eyes and thought would you like me to show the studies that talk about it.
But the next Dr I ask this question to IS going to get me whipping out the study that shows an 80% number.
If you have weird or very rare things wrong with you it is a medical battle. Lord help you if you have any disease on the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. list. There is a lot of incompetence out there
BIOWEAPON Covid is causing all kinds of mistrust
You called that right.
I’ve had the same experience asking doctors questions already knew the answers to and got the same clueless response.
If I can read it on the internet and it’s in their area of specialty, then why have they not heard about it?
Trust them?
Those days are long gone.
btw, here is the MDA list
https://www.mda.org/disease/list
If you have one of these disorders or might have one...use MDA name and this list to get Drs to deal with it
There are MDA clinics in select cities.
"Doctors practice medicine and some day, if they have practiced long enough, they may get it right."

Agreed!
Actually, seems there is a whole laundry list of things causing mistrust.
