It makes its way through the population like any other variant of the common cold. The difference is now we know that ivermectin, zinc, quercetin and vitamin D can cure the illness. And so many other treatments.
Why take a vaccine when there are so many cures?
There is a sizeable contingent of FReepers who no longer seem to understand the concept of FREEDOM.
I CHOSE to get vaccinated....my CHOICE.
If the vaccination is even half of what it is claimed to be I really don’t give a rat’s rump whether anyone else is vaccinated or unvaccinated, masked or unmasked, coughing or calm, close or distant!
I am pro VOLUNTARY vax.
I am barely tolerant VOLUNTARY mask.
I am anti MANDATORY vax.
I am vehemently anti MANDATORY mask.
Naturally, I am anti “vaxxport” or “vaccine passport”.
I resent being presumed guilty until proven innocent.
And I do not need to “feel safe” by knowing that everyone in a venue has dutifully shown their papers.
But for that certain contingent, the only credential that matters is being “anti-vaxx”.
You know, I’ve had friends killed in auto accidents. I didn’t go out and buy a tank, though. Fear is a dangerous thing. I hope you recover from yours!

Up to 40-50% of nurses refuse the "jab". Physicians are also against the forcible use of the mRNA cocktails. "Science" is whatever you want to believe it is, in this dystopia.
I’ll pass on the mRNA shot, but there are real vaccines on the way, I’ll wait on those.

I am 82 with a host of comorbidities. I will not take the jab. I do not trust it. I believe it will kill me. I take vitamins and Zinc, eat well and stay healthy. If I get sick I will treat it immediately with nasal and mouth rinses, and Monoclonal Antibody Therapy. If I do not survive I will be in heaven and the world will be just a little worse for the loss.

I found out that most accidents happen in the home. Now I live two miles from home. I showed them!

This post, to Pollard proves to me that you are a reasonable person. I am anti vax for myself, and pro choice on the matter for everyone else, but I would ask you to reconsider, because you are an old-timer here, and I respect that. Hang in there, 2nd, this too shall pass.

Jim’s great idea for a place where Conservatives could get together and discuss issues has long since morphed into a place where one so-called conservative “flames” another for disagreement.
But I guess FR is a microcosm of society at large where the internet and it’s ability to allow us to behave in manners we would have never done before. Especially face to face.
To the topic. I am vaccinated as well as my wife. We are in our 70’s with other morbidity’s. None of our children nor grandchildren and even a couple of greats have been vaccinated. Four have had and recovered from the virus.
I strongly support the right of the individual in making this decision for themselves. There is no way I would attack someone who didn’t get it. I does seem to me the anti-vaxxers are more than just a bit defensive about their decision.
I don’t know abut elsewhere, but in my city, the ability to provide hospital care for folks with other than covid problems is diminishing as the facilities are filling with patients suffering from the virus.
I do believe the virus is real. I also believe it is being used as a tool so as to gain more and more control over the public at large for pure political power.
I don’t know what the solution is, but I don’t enjoy seeing self identified conservatives at each others’ throats over the issue.
It is almost as if someone knew it would divide us. Eh?
Damn, this response got way longer than I intended. Oh well, I don’t post at all these days and my responses are always to folks I find myself in agreement with.
