Why do you say that? I see that we are developing herd immunity against the Delta variant and things would only get bad if a new variant emerges and displaces Delta.

The wild card is that a new variant may come out from nowhere and infect all of us again but hopefully that will not happen. But time will tell and hopefully the holidays will be uneventful.

The reported deathcount today was 1927, not 1899.

Neither Michigan nor Tennessee reported today. Both were well into double digits Sept 14.

Probably around 2000 dead today. Florida’s reporting remains opaque.

Covid does seem to have seasonality like the flu.
