A recent poll by The Washington Post and ABC shows that a majority of unvaccinated Americans will resign from their jobs if employers make COVID-19 vaccines mandatory. Seventy percent of respondents who are not self-employed would quit work if they were not granted a religious or medical exemption. The poll was conducted on Aug. 29 with the participation of 1,006 adults.
Fifty-two percent supported businesses mandating vaccination for employees. Eight in 10 Democrats agreed to such a requirement, while six in 10 Republicans strongly opposed it. Independents were split almost equally on the issue. Only two in 10 Americans said that their employers want workers to get the jab.
“Among workers whose employer lacks a mandate, about 3 in 10 are unvaccinated. Asked what they would likely do if their employer imposed a mandate, 16 percent of that group say they would get vaccinated while 35 percent would ask for a medical or religious exemption and 42 percent would quit. If no exemption was given, 72 percent of unvaccinated workers say they would quit their job rather than get vaccinated,” states The Washington Post.
Vaccination mandates are likely to become a major flashpoint as businesses and governments seek to impose these measures on the public. Such mandates are largely fueled by the FDA granting full approval to Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine last month.
However, nonprofit Liberty Counsel points out that the existing Pfizer vaccines remain under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) while there are no supplies for the approved Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine. This might cause confusion, forcing employees to inject themselves with a EUA vaccine thinking that it is an approved one. The group also points out that even if employers implement vaccine mandates of the approved Comirnaty vaccine, workers can still refuse it.

I assume that anyone who gets fired because of not getting the shot will also not get unemployment? Or does it depend on the state?
There won’t be any quitting, only terminations and millions of lawsuits.
Yes, and remember from the company's perspective, if 1 or more of the people forced to take the jab have serious or fatal side affects from the "vaccination", they are liable for the damage. And how about "government workers"?
No one is “vaccinated” against COVID-19. They’ve taken something, but it’s clearly not a vaccine, no matter what the CDC revised their definition to be.
I agree. I am waiting for them to roll out the vax mandate at my company. When they do, I will let them fire me. In a few years, I will join one of the class action law suits that is bound to happen. Time for the country to go Galt on this madness.
Agreed. People talk a big game but expect most of them to cave. Virtually none have saved for a rainy day and a storm is already raging.
A good start to fixing America would be to kill all politicians and all HR personnel.
Same.
Who will proceed to quickly run these, stupid, woke companies into the ground.
My wife quit hers. Many others have quit too.
“Go right ahead.”
they are quitting. I guess you’re a just a sucker.
I won’t quit. They’ll have to fire me.
I’m down with the Wuhan Flu right now. My antibodies will be far better than any vaccine.
I’ve been thinking along those same lines.
In the exact same position as you are right now. Not gonna quit, will make them fire me. And then I’m going to do something I actually enjoy for a change. The timing is off by 14 months to use some of my retirement money if I need it at first, but I’ll figure something out. So grateful my retired husband stands by my decision.
That is still perfectly acceptable to Biden and Fauci as long as they still get the other 28%.
Agreed. Rarest wife and I are part of that 72%. We don’t like it, but this is a hill to die on. And we will NOT be quitting. They have to fire us.
I’ve got about 6 years to actual retirement age and generally plenty of energy. I’ve got a few things in the back of my mind that I can do to keep working and let my retirement fund continue to grow.
Same with my wife. Been working at a nursing home this whole time. Covid has been through the place twice, once with the original and once with delta. 4-5 of her co-workers have had and recovered from covid. We just can't seem to get it but then again, we haven't been sick with the flu or a cold in 5 years. We got the flu/cold often for the prior 5 years but then it just stopped. I guess our immunity against respiratory infections is pretty high. Only sickness we did have a few months ago was her being sore and tired for a few days which overlapped with me having stomach issues for 4-5 days like nothing I've ever had before so maybe that was covid for us and we just didn't get the respiratory part of it due to our immunity in that area. The kids 18/19 didn't get anything or if they did, it was asymptomatic. I've been keeping her informed about all the jab news so she's not going to be getting it nor am I.
That’s the $10k question right there.
