The Bidenites tried to shut down Fox News's video coverage of the chaos at the border by banning its drone but got thwarted.
In the crudest crypto-censorship since dictators made newsprint unavailable, the Biden administration tried to shut down Fox News's coverage of the border crisis by cutting off its drone access for camera shots, depriving the network of the ability to broadcast the actual news in pictures as it was happening on the ground. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which has never been misused in this way, claimed its two-week shutoff was all about public safety. Thomas Lifson wrote about the sorry spectacle here.
Here's the real reason: Fox News's original reporting, done by Bill Melugin (a must-follow on Twitter), documented a historic crisis building at the border as tens of thousands of migrants swarmed into the U.S. near Del Rio, Texas. The photos were shocking and embarrassing to the Biden administration. The Bidenites wanted those pictures shut down. Coverage like Fox's was clearly making an impact on public opinion and had the potential to force the Bidenites to take action to halt the unprecedented invasion or else face voter consequences.
It was crude, disgusting, and unprecedented, a true example of a state attack on the freedom of the press and, right there in the same family of repressions, a dictator like Hugo Chávez would do.
While it was disheartening to many, the silver lining is that Fox didn't stand for it. Fox got someone else to get his cameras up there, effectively nullifying Biden's de facto censorship with the drone.
Wasting no time, Fox's Melugin got in touch with local law enforcement, made arrangements for a helicopter ride-along, and got the filming of the historic building border crisis done that way — no drones to howl about.

The traitorous actions of the ChiComjoe kakistocracy have no statute of limitations.
Chile the country, not Chili, the food dish.
Needs repeating.
Fascinating (and heartening) to see freedom (of the press) exhibiting more power than tyranny.
Embarrassed by TV coverage of the border deluge, cheesy Biden ordered the FAA to invoke a Temporary Flight Restriction [TFR] after Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin aired footage showing 10,000 illegal immigrants camped out under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas.
The FAA then claimed the TFR was invoked for a “security” reason.
After being grounded for over 12-hours, the Texas Department of Safety offered to fly Melugin and his crew to continue their coverage of Biden’s catastrophic border crisis.
Shortly after Fox aired even more startling details of the Biden mess up-close, the FAA reopened the airspace.
I have been on MeWe for a few months. It is refreshing to see comments on topics which are not censored.
When has that ever worked against any tax paying Fox reporter?
“Looks like every single federal alphabet agency has been “weaponized” against America.”
Those ‘alphabet agencies’ are just individuals doing their part to destroy the Republic.
Eventually, whenever things align properly, those individuals should be made to pay a price for their involvement.
They shouldn’t be able to hide behind “just doing my job”.
I believe you are thinking of some other platform.
MeWe was founded to counter censorship.
The CEO is Mark Weinstein, who founded the company. It is the fastest growing alternative to the Tech Oligarchs.

Incorporated in Delaware.
That’s interesting.
FWIW, I’m not touching MeWe.
I can find bugger all on its ownership.
The free traitors got that ball rolling long before President Biden was sworn in.
I agree, but are we willing to give up our status updates, our new communist made Hi-Def TVs every two years, our TV subscriptions, etc. to save this country?
Chile?
Yes.
It became clear during the Obama regime that the US Government had become the enemy of the American people. Despite a welcome truce during the Trump years, hostilities against the citizenry have resumed with intensified malice.
Valjar. Or Rice.
The FAA is just another government agency that has been totally corrupted with politics.
This is not the FAA’s 1st foray.
Elon Musk and SpaceX is currently held hostage with their Starship project in Texas.
SpaceX has turned the space launch industry on it’s head. For over a decade we paid the Russians a kings ransom to ferry our people to the ISS. Our politicians ended the Space Shuttle before having an alternative in place for manned missions.
For over a decade we were presented by NASA all these systems to return Americans to space. Billions of tax dollars were spent with NITHING to show for it. The defense contractors got a massive scam going. Make Billions and all you need is some concept art & videos to placate the politicians & public.
Billions of taxpayers $$$ gone.
Then you had private companies not affiliated with the Good Ole Boy defense network.
Branson
Bezos
Musk
Branson was from the beginning into Space Tourism. That’s OK.
Bezos & Blue Origin talks about going to the moon and other great thing. But has yet to get to orbit.
Elon Musk & SpaceX started after Blue Origin with the ultimate goal of getting to Mars. Their idea was reusable boosters (everyone laughed at the prospect back then).
Fast forward to today. The Falcon 9 system is rock solid. They take cargo & astronauts to the ISS on a regular basis. This week they took four civilians into orbit for 3 days. Civilians not NASA trained astronauts.
The US Government is going after Elon Musk IMHO. His Tesla company is the clear leader in EV technology and # 2 is not even close. Last month Biden had a EV event at the White House. Tesla was not invited. Why? Tesla factories are not union.
