Surprising since the more you listen to Mozart the more it all sounds alike. Apparently it has something to do with there being two pianos or something.

I play piano as a hobby, been doing it a long time. It’s one thing to be able to play that, it takes an insane amount of practice for years that I wouldn’t even begin to attempt but to write it? I can’t even begin to comprehend how, and he pumped these out like handing out candy. Just unbelievable genius, he must have heard it in his head and literally wrote it out like taking dictation.

RAP (and any other monotonously rhythmic music like Led Zeppelin Kashmir) would be more likely to cause a seizure, I would think.

I am willing to experiment with this

maybe it will keep strokes away
“These patients listened to Mozart K.448 for 8 minutes once a day before bedtime for 6 months”

Listening to Wagner did not produce any calming effect...But it caused people to dress in severe uniforms and hunt people down.

The people that can hear a song and play it astound me . I have a passing acquaintance with someone that can do it.
Not someone that you would think is a mental genius..but he sure can play

Oh yeah. I get migraines and i can’t listen to rap. But Mozart is heaven.
To: BenLurkin
maybe you get the same effect from some forms of jazz
the ones where everyone is playing everything at the same time

He used a lot of the same riffs over and over again just putting a slightly different twist on them.
For instance, some choir directors use a vocal exercise that goes “Me My Me My Mo”. Mozart uses similar notes in both Figaro and Abduction from the Seraglio.
And NB that K448 has phrases which begin with the same two notes which he uses in Eine Kleine Nacthmusik.
That said, Old Ben can’t play any instrument, can’t read music, and hasn’t been in a choir for half a century. So I do defer to actual FR musical experts.

"Quon says the findings suggest that longer phrases may create a sense of anticipation" I wouldn't take anything Qanon says seriously: "Trust the Plan", "Trust Sessions", "Trust Mozart" …
