Simple solution. Leave your cell phones at home. People survived before the invention of the cell phone.
I find myself worrying if I forget my phone. What if I miss a call? What of there’s an emergency? Then, after a moment I worry that I’ve become an damned fool.
It’s hard to believe the human race not only survived, but thrived before the invention of the cell phone.

I have a small metal box that some Christmas candy came in that’s the perfect size for a cellphone. It works great but I have to remember to turn off the phone when using it to keep the device from trying to find signal - and running down the battery.
