I’m trying to figure out why some are so bad they are in the ICU and some don’t make it and why some are barely sick at all with the same virus.
My neighbor was in ICU for 8 days with the Delta variant.
My siblings and I all have the same blood type because my parents had the same blood type. Even though we are all technically senior citizens we are extremely healthy and fit for our ages. All five of us have been fitness nuts our entire lives. Nobody is overweight. My baby brother still competes in body building competitions at age 50. Both of their wives were sicker but didn’t have to be under a doctor’s care. All three of my siblings were better in a week or less. It took their wives two weeks.
My neighbor that was so sick is also overweight and only has one kidney so the fitness factor has to factor in too. She was in the hospital for two weeks.
This whole virus is weird.
I only put the pictures on my profile page for today to show you what “seniors” look like in my family. They will come off tomorrow. Mom actually passed young at 87.

Windows 7 without one update.
But a friend gave me a refurbished Mac Book Pro and DH is figuring it out and I’ll be using it soon. We’ve never used Macs.
Only a few more days on the hand cranked machine.
