Biden Plans COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for 80 Million Private Sector Workers
President Joe Biden will direct the Department of Labor to develop a rule that companies with more than 100 employees will require vaccinations or once-per-week testing for their workers, potentially impacting tens of millions of U.S. private-sector employees, according to the White House.
The administration’s rule will require that “all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work,” which will impact more than 80 million workers in the private sector.
During remarks on Thursday evening, Biden said that the United States “can and will turn the tide” against COVID-19 by mass vaccinations, while casting blame “at the 80 million” people who haven’t been vaccinated. “We’re in a tough stretch,” he said, adding that “this is not about freedom or personal choice” but is about protection against COVID-19.
The president further claimed the “unvaccinated” are “crowding our hospitals” and said that vaccines provide protection against COVID-19 hospitalizations.
The Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will issue an Emergency Temporary Standard to implement the requirement, the White House document said. It did not make any mention regarding religious exemption or individuals whose doctors have recommended against getting COVID-19 shots.
Biden will further sign an executive order requiring most federal employees and contractors to get a COVID-19 vaccine without the option of getting regular testing, according to the document. Federal workers unions suggested on Thursday they would accept the vaccine mandate. It’s not clear if the U.S. Postal Service will be under the new mandate.

My son, 32 yrs old, has just had his first child, is buying his first home and works for a large casino in Vegas. Way more than 100 employees so I guess it’ll come to him very soon. As he pointed out, all these casinos are dependent on their gaming licenses so they won’t buck the mandate.
He’s been looking for remote work that pays as well but every computer nerd in the US is doing the same thing.
Did anyone catch that Biden said something like, “It is important we do this not just for this pandemic, but for future ones, because there will be another one.”
He - or rather his handler/speechwriter, as Joe is a compliant lower level minion working for a Mouth of Sauron type - meant exactly what was said. This is bloody-shirting the masses to whip up a vaccination Kristallnacht. If that doesn't work, they'll get paramil goons to gather us up.

I had a friend that went to the hospital for ‘rona. Gave her remdesivir right away and she started to tank (n=1). Wanted to vent her, but got the pulmonolgist to pray with her and she did not need it.

It is my belief that the unvaccinated are some of the best and brightest minds of the Country. (Certainly some that received the vaccination early in the game can be counted among them.)
If the best and brightest hold their ground, the companies that demand the vaccine will be left with the dull and stupid to perform the job. I believe they will repent when reality sets in.
I will resist. My husband will resist.
We must all resist tyranny.
This would be a pretty good time for the REAL Pres. to make his return.
It's a conundrum. On the one hand, we all know there's a BUNCH going on behind the scenes / under the radar / off the record. On the other hand, Americans are being pushed and pushed and pushed without any let-up, and the nation is fast approaching a point where civil war is nearly inevitable. And once it starts, it can't be stopped until it runs its course.
Pretty sure the Pres. is aware of all that. Hopefully his team is just about ready to wrap things up, because if the situation is allowed to go on for much longer, there won't be a country to be President OF, or a populace to preside over.
