McCarthy having press conference now, explaining the non-infrastructure bill.
True. You would think so. It certainly makes sense.
Now that she is making her move to kick Joe out of the way, the R's need to highlight this fact & her failure.
The media will build her up like they did Hitlery. First of all, for the obvious reasons, and secondly, they have nobody else. If Biden goes, they can't afford to lose Harris too. And she will be their hope to beat Trump.
Texas Judge Becomes One of the First to Affirm Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Monday, June 21, 2021
On June 12, 2021, a Texas federal judge issued one of the first rulings on a challenge to a mandatory vaccination policy. U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes of the Southern District of Texas dismissed a lawsuit brought by 116 employees of Houston Methodist Hospital who refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19 following a mandate by the hospital. The policy provided employees with a deadline to receive any of the three available COVID-19 vaccinations. Once the deadline had passed, the hospital suspended the refusing employees for 14 days without pay for failure to meet the deadline.
Ultimately, Judge Hughes sided with the hospital, rejecting the employees’ wrongful termination and coercion claims. First, when reviewing the wrongful termination claim, Judge Hughes noted that plaintiffs’ characterizations of the COVID-19 vaccines as experimental or dangerous were irrelevant. The order focused on the Texas wrongful termination law, which only protects employees from being terminated for refusing to commit an act carrying criminal penalties to the worker. Thus, without any assertions of an illegal act, the plaintiffs’ wrongful termination claim failed.
Secondly, when considering the coercion argument, Judge Hughes held that requiring an employee to receive a vaccination did not amount to coercion, stating, “Methodist is trying to do their business of saving lives without giving them the COVID-19 virus . . . [the plaintiffs] can freely choose to accept or refuse a COVID-19 vaccine; however, if [they] refuse, [they] will simply need to work somewhere else.” Judge Hughes likened the refusal to acquire a vaccination to the refusal of an assignment, office change, or earlier start time—all for which an employee may be properly fired. Simply, vaccination policies—like other directives—are part of the bargain an employee enters into when choosing their place of employment.
I don’t agree with this, but this is what we’re up against. The thing is, this vaccine is not like others, is not effective and has caused harm and death. Individuals can’t sue the pharmaceuticals, can they sue their employers?
Please report what McCarthy says.
Watching War Room with MTG who is on fire and naming names and going after pubbies who are thinking of voting yes.
Good points. And many countries have vaccine mandates, some more brutally enforced than ours.
It is insane, that after 2 years, they are ramping up efforts to lock people down. Have we learned nothing? Cases are down. There are therapeutics. We know who is most vulnerable. Lockdowns haven't worked, yet they are still proposing more & more draconian measures. More sever punishments.
This isn't about Covid.
I’m no expert, but it seems to me that the use of “state of emergency” Is being abused. A virus that has been around for 2 years, gun violence, climate change, are not emergencies, in my opinion.
Damn!
Hey, for a bottle of booze and a little pot, a lot of folks can be persuaded that Newsom is doing a good job, and worth getting hundreds of other folks to think so too.
She won't take down her tweet even though she now knows who they are.

To add fuel to the argument, we now are finding that the vaccinated may be more dangerous to society than the unvaccinated. The vaccinated can be silent super spreaders and a breeding ground for encouraging variants. The unvaccinated have not been found to be asymptomatic spreaders ... they feel ill, they stay home, their circumstances make contact tracing easier. The vaccinated are essentially larking about thinking they cannot be hurting anyone because they don't feel sick.
Further, the vaccine wears off, so the early takers are now larking about essentially as naked as the unvaccinated.
To be fair, if this is such a bad bug, everyone, vaccinated or not, should have to be tested every few days. If, I say if, this is really such a dangerous virus to everyone, not just those with ‘conditions.’
I agree 100%. As I keep saying, there must be, or at least should be, some solid criteria to declare a "state of emergency". Surely, you can't declare a state of emergency for a hurricane, and keep it going 2 years or even 2 months after the hurricane passed. Once the hurricane has passed or Covid cases drop, the emergency is over. Otherwise the President or Governors could be in a "state of emergency" forever & become dictators.

Because of cheap foreign labor.
What I find interesting, is if it was so bad and infectious, why the lackadaisical disposal of all these masks and gloves the general public are wearing? My local grocery store has a little trash can sitting by the exit door for people to throw them in!
>>>To be fair, if this is such a bad bug
This is lab enhanced the virus. The behavior will be unknown for a very long time. Anything made in China is always unreliable.
Stay alert, whether vaccinated or not. keep all precautions. Even with antibodies, people are dying from this disease. The major culprit is blood clotting.
