They want the taxpayers to pay up to $50,000 per journalist! That’s a ,ot of money! What about a free and fair press?

Well, there is a Billings Clinic (which along with Saint Vincent Healthcare serve patients from a 350 mile radius of Billings), they've been shorthanded for years and the local "news" paper has been howling and screaming about COVID ever since the first day the scam got launched.
(Excuse the editorial slip, please.)
The latest stories included bits about National Guard being brought in to help, but they were 1) at most ten or twelve in number and 2) only used for support.
As far as the hospital(s) being overrun, first thing to remember is their service area is so big they are typically at or near capacity even without factoring in COVID numbers (which may be bogus).
My travels take me by both hospitals quite frequently and I haven't noticed any...repeat..ANY gross crowding in parking access around them over the past month. In fact, the hospital staff parking has almost continually been less than 3/4 full.
Summary: Sounds like media hype to me. YMMV.
(No, I haven't been IN any hospital and I don't plan on going any time soon. Too many bureaucrats/journalists running the damn show.)
If this is for Real, why doesn’t Biden set up what Trump did with all the emergency ICUs. That he’s not doing that isn’t anybody’s fault but his own.
Also, if hospitals don’t want unvaccinated people taking that bed space, give them Ivermectin and send them home. I have no pity.

Back from our walk, it was delightful. It’s definitely fall. I walked about an hour at a little Trail we have along the river. I think it did my leg some good but I took some ibuprofen anyway.
