So they’re recognized by the UN now? Is he going to join the women’s rights committee?
Their final screen appearance “Utopia” is hilarious.
Stan learns that he is to receive an inheritance left by a wealthy uncle. Unfortunately, most of the inheritance is consumed by taxes and legal fees, and he is left with only a rickety but fully provisioned yacht and a private island in the Pacific Ocean. Stan and Ollie leave for the island, accompanied by stateless refugee Antoine (Max Elloy) and stowaway Giovanni Copini, a malcontent Italian bricklayer (Adriano Rimoldi).
They encounter a storm and Stan battles with an inflating liferaft in the cabin while Ollie is at the helm. They are shipwrecked on a newly emerged desert island, which they dub “Crusoeland” after the book Robinson Crusoe that is on their yacht. They are soon joined by Chérie Lamour, a nightclub singer (Suzy Delair) who is fleeing her jealous fiancé Jack Frazer, a naval lieutenant (Luigi Tosi). The island is established as a new republic, with Hardy as president and Laurel as “the people.” They write a constitution declaring their atoll will have no laws, no taxes, and no immigration controls.
All goes well until the singer’s fiancé arrives to confirm the island is rich with uranium deposits. People from all over the world flock to “Atoll K” as it has been named, but soon the situation turns chaotic when a revolt seeks to overthrow and execute the island’s original inhabitants. Before the execution, another storm strikes and floods the island. Laurel and Hardy are rescued and arrive at the island Laurel inherited, only to have their land and supplies confiscated for failure to pay taxes. The film ends with Oliver ranting to Stan “Well, here’s another nice mess you’ve gotten me into!” and Stan whimpering.[1]

Following an altercation between a Carmine’s restaurant hostess and a group of black patrons, Black Lives Matter of Greater New York and related organizations are calling out the city’s vaccine mandates, saying that they are racist and predominantly affect people of color.
On Monday, protestors gathered outside of Carmine’s restaurant, claiming that the hostess called the three black women that were arrested racial slur, and reportedly accused them of carrying fraudulent vaccination cards, according to the National Review.
Speakers at the rally spoke out against the hostess’ alleged actions, and noted the perceived discrimination against the black unvaccinated patrons.
BLM NYC co-founder and chairman Hawk Newsome alleged that Carmine’s was covering up “their employees’ actions by using the vaccination passport as an excuse,” and called for video footage from the restaurant to be released, which he believed would show the hostess as the aggressor.
On Tuesday, Carmine’s owner Jeffrey Bank released the footage, which showed that one of the women started the violence, not the hostess.
“This attack was entirely unprovoked,” Banks told the New York Post. He also denied that any one of his employees called the women a racial slur.
In a speech given outside the restaurant on Monday, Hawk Newsome alleged that the hostess had previously “antagonized these women.”That hostess, he said, was then restrained and brought into the restaurant. Following that, Hawk Newsome said that “a black manager came out and apologized for that employee’s behavior, invited the entire party back into the restaurant.”

Former President Donald Trump is more popular with registered voters than President Joe Biden, according to a Monday Harvard CAPS/Harris poll released by the Hill.
“Forty-eight percent of respondents say they have a positive view of Trump compared to 46 percent who say they have a favorable opinion of his successor,” the Hill reported.
In addition to respondents’ more positive view of Trump than Biden, 51 percent believe Trump was actually “a better president than Biden.”

It’s not letting up. This live cam has sound. Menacing.
Amen!
That would make sense. Not sure what the big deal with fake COVID cards is anyway. I mean, if an illegal alien has fake documents, it is perfectly acceptable right? They are just seeking a better life & have every right to do so, right?
It's fun watching the BLM fight with the vax mandate crowd.
Agree and Amen!
Well, I think the whole passport thing is dumb to begin with. Don’t blame a person for doing what they feel they need to do. Myself, I’d solve it by not being in New York!
I just find it hilarious that one sentence has them incensed for being accused of having fake papers, and in the next breath they’re unvaccinated. LOL
Now, they might have a case if the documents were real, but were someone else’s.😃
..............................
LOL?
Well, so you don't see a problem with the mandatory jabs, green cards, restricted travel, extreme lock downs, threat of losing jobs and finances and taking away property if you don't comply with vax. You don't think they have a plan to quarantine a large number of people. All this is happening as scripted. It has been written and proved for at least a couple years now.
What do you think ran thru the minds of these folks who faced the same situation but did not listen to the warnings, by the time they did it was too late. Evil people did not disappear.

Former President Donald Trump is suing the New York Times, three of its reporters, and his niece over a 2018 story the newspaper published concerning his tax records.
According to The Daily Beast, Trump argues that the New York Times hatched an “insidious plot” to gain sensitive information from his niece, Mary Trump.
The lawsuit further alleges that the newspaper and the three reporters were able to successfully persuade Mary Trump to divulge personal documents despite being in violation of a confidentiality agreement she signed in 2001.
This recent lawsuit comes after a previous attempt by Robert Trump, Donald’s brother, to stop Mary from publishing a memoir in 2020 that contained private information about the family. Judge Hal Greenwald ruled that the 2001 confidentiality agreement was too vague in scope, and therefore couldn’t be used to stop her in publishing her book.
Trump argues the New York Times was aware of the legal agreement his niece was under, but still encouraged her to sneak documents out of her attorney’s office.
In the lawsuit, Trump is seeking “no less than One Hundred Million Dollars” in damages from the defendants.
