Trump’s visit to the NYPD and the NYFD was a little bright spot for me on a very sad day of remembrance.
I pray that we don’t have more of these horrible attacks but I’m not reassured by what Bye-done just did in AFGHANISTAN.

The US supported the Tolly-bon in their war with the Soviet Union.
We armed them IIRC.
So it doesn’t surprise me that we were helping them build a pipeline.

Well, the pipeline was never built. We spent 3 years there negotiating & trying to prove the reserves in Turkmenistan. Unocal & US execs has numerous meetings with the Taliban & the Northern Alliance, who were fighting each other. No stable gov’t was established in Afghanistan, so Unocal left without anything being built.
Unocal also had offices in Azerbaijan, Tajikistan & Uzbekistan that I had to visit.

Yes, I think it’s marvelous that he went to visit the New York first responders. Listening to him, I could see why he didn’t emphasize the vaccine mandate in his interview with the brothers. I can see his priority now is to let everyone not forget how Biden put many people’s lives at risk in Afghanistan plus armed the Taliban at our expense. He’s not going to get let that get brushed under the rug.
