Just heard on the news that the Biden administration is upset because the Taliban have not created an inclusive government like they promised!. I had a meme yesterday about that but I thought it was too ridiculous. Boy was I wrong.

My doctors nurses ask about domestic violence, they say they ha e to ask because some people are afraid to report it. I don’t see how asking the question would change their fear.

I feel sad when I see a beautiful sunset here because I know it is from the pollution from the CA fires.
Will the storm bring down temperature or will it just make it hot and humid?
Was hoping for a bit more monsoon here but I’m afraid it is over and temps have shot up to 90°.

Funny you should mention pecan pie, I just made a cream cheese pecan pie. It’s a recipe from when my son was in Catholic school, and they did fundraisers by baking pies. So I took a couple of their recipes. I actually haven’t made one for probably a couple decades. My son just turned 31.

I was kinda thinking along those lines.
Never having been in the situation I can only guess. But I’m thinking that bringing up the topic with an abuse victim, an observant medical professional might see some subtle response that they have a possible abused patient and do some more probing or provide some resources?
I’ve had phone calls where I started out answering basic questions turn on a dime to emotional support and providing other resources due to a simple comment or question.

Not so smart!
Soon to be a dead critter, hubby has set the trap.
IMO a grey squirrel and a ground squirrel are just about the same except for the bushy tail but not in hubby’s book.
When he sees the thief eating Squiggy’s food he runs outside with his BB gun and shoots him.
Only makes him jump and scurry away.
