A German model was mauled by a leopard during a photoshoot — leaving her unconscious and with large gashes on her face and head, according to reports Thursday.
Jessica Leidolph, 36, was posing for shots inside an animal enclosure at a center for retired showbiz animals in Nebra Tuesday when the 16-year-old leopard, Troja, sunk its teeth into her head, according to the German newspaper Bild.
“It repeatedly kept biting my cheek, ear and head,” she told the outlet, according to the UK Sun.

Couldn’t they just Photoshop a model, and leopards together in a cage? Seems safer.

Looks like she’s been bird hunting with Dick Cheney.

A racoon is a wild animal; unpredictable and capable of inflicting great harm.

The young ones are pretty docile.
Wild animals are pretty predictable, really. You have to know how to read them. Part of that is maintaining a safe distance. Doesn’t do you much good to know an attack is imminent if the critter is in your lap.

I had the same thought. Great minds think alike! Gotta say I dig the pierced belly button thing myself. Piercings are hit or miss on women. On some women they can look sexy or exotic. On others it just looks freaky, and not “good” freaky either. This gal’s got too much of it.

I was going to say all the shiny crap on her face probably provoked the animal. Cats LOVE shiny things, after all.

Animals can be unpredictable. There are times when I rough house with my Rotten Shepherd, and it gets pretty wild. When she was younger, she drew blood a few times, nothing serious. Still, I'm on my toes when we're playing.
We never do it when the grandkids are around. She's so gentle with them, and very protective.

Yeah. Pretty sure that’s two different photos. Focus seems to drop off with distance on the kitty, but return on the model. May be different resolutions, as well.

Sounds predictable enough. My pit accepted the cats as pack members. But, that subjected them to pack discipline if they transgressed pack rules. Same with the chickens.
