Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine has been known as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, and will now be marketed as Comirnaty (koe-mir’-na-tee), for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older. The vaccine also continues to be available under emergency use authorization (EUA), including for individuals 12 through 15 years of age and for the administration of a third dose in certain immunocompromised individuals.
“The FDA’s approval of this vaccine is a milestone as we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic. While this and other vaccines have met the FDA’s rigorous, scientific standards for emergency use authorization, as the first FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine, the public can be very confident that this vaccine meets the high standards for safety, effectiveness, and manufacturing quality the FDA requires of an approved product,” said Acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock, M.D. “While millions of people have already safely received COVID-19 vaccines, we recognize that for some, the FDA approval of a vaccine may now instill additional confidence to get vaccinated. Today’s milestone puts us one step closer to altering the course of this pandemic in the U.S.”
But it still doesn’t PREVENT CONvid-19 infections. We know they are liars so..............

Yeah I heard it was a different company approved but it’s not out yet. He was saying wait until that companies version comes out.
I would like to find a simple document I can use in case they try to mandate at work saying “now that it’s FDA approved....” It can’t be too complicated because they won’t understand it.

Where is this doctor getting this idea? I think he is reading something into the announcement that is not actually there. The announcement clearly states the Pfizer vaccine is approved.
I sure hope there aren’t any fake people trying to put up false information about these vaccines here. To do so will only hurt the cause of conservatives and people who love freedom everywhere.
For example, we have people who try to mislead others with the numbers on the deaths of people who have recently gotten vaccines. Its a well known fact that people die every day for numerous reasons. On average its 8.8 people per thousand annually or 24 per million daily. So with 335 million doses of vaccines we should expect to see approx. 3*24*335 people (ie 24,120) having died within the reporting time mandate of getting a covid-19 vaccine.
How many deaths reported? About 7000? I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some caused by the vaccines. But I am not going to be a moonbat or lie about this. Besides I am a believer in “innocent until proven guilty” so I won’t be a hypocrite either.
I hope we can all try hard to be honest on this and everything. Then we can more effectively fight for freedom and our rights.

I don’t like it. It was a rubber stamp approval. However, just lying or pretending that the FDA didn’t issue full approval is asinine.
