Perhaps I am mis-interpeting, since he never finished, but I think he was pointing out the big US sacrifice, in blood and treasure that was made in Afghanistan, over a period of many years. And then he added that Taiwan was “different”. Ummmmmm, different how? Different as being somehow not worthy of any equivalent sacrifice? PRC take note.

Yep. It’s going to get worse, and there isn’t much can be done to prevent the government from over-running personal liberty and freedom, at the same time as it loots the economy. The system is infested, too complex to repair, and impossible to root out the rot without collapsing the structure.
Just be prepared, trust God, go about your business with eyes open. Be stingy with trust.

Our economy is in a very precarious state right now and a significant market correction is way over due. And the world is becoming very unstable.
We have no responsible or capable leadership at any level of government. What could go wrong?
